240?haha yeah right..my 01 GT put down 231rwhp with just a K&N CAI...Autos put down around 220rwhp and manuals about 225rwhp.enough said..So you've had 2 diff cat-backs on this GT man?Thats just nuts..dont blame you for ditching the SLP's tho they sound like pure shit..
1s i believe...they were on when i bought the car...but i have seen only a few other vids with the exact same setup the sound the exact same..and the vid states that they are LM1
That is one of the best sounds, loud mouth ones and the stock H (you got to love that). If you want some more hp and not sound to raspy get the magnaflow catted X.
it was stock as a rock....230rwhp, cant remember the torque, but it also had a seriously blocked up fuel filter, dont know how much that would actually effect it but i cant help :)
like everyone agrees on u need an american thunder flowmaster 2 chamber exhaust with an aftermarket h or x i prefer prochamber h-pipe for the muscle car and race car sound check out the stang on here its 96vortechgt (exact wording)and let me know what u think
if you look at my videos in my profile you will see i have THIS car with a O/R prochamber and flowmaster 40 series :), i had it changed not to long ago because even i agree that i like the traditonal mustang sound better.
has anybody else ever wondered that the slp exhaust on a mustang makes it sound more like a camaro or trans am,while the flowmaster mufflers give it that classic old school muscle car sound.every time you hear it you can instantly hear the difference.
you know its funny you should mention that, i always thought the same thing, but now the stang has a O/R prochamber with flowmaster, its loud and has the signiature mustang sound! haha
yeah joe's a fuckin moron and odviously doesnt own a V8 mustang or looked under one, they've always come stock with h-pipes, in recent times heavily catted. Maybe he's a faggy V6 owner with a Y-Pipe.
Wow...seeing those numbers makes me feel good to own a N/A v6 :) its not a mustang tho. 276 at my wheels and 312 at the crank.

I mean 3 cat-backs..SLP,FLOWS and Magnaflows.I prefer flowmaster american thunder systems the closest to there aggressive sound is Bassani and MAC..
