already sold my canon xlh1, n got the 7d. unbelievable how shit changes in a few short years. got 3 lenses Tamron 70-200 2.8 macro - tamron 17-50 2.8 vc n everyone needs a 50mm 1.8 prime 4 100. bucs. the 50 is the best lens lol. geeat shots in this test, btw.

Wow... EXCELLENT video man! Best I've seen for 7d and there's been a couple of good ones. My 7d is annoying me cos of the the converting (still haven't sorted it). Photography is wonderful though!

Very Nice work! I also have the 7D and playing with different software to see which one I like before making a final choice. Today I made one with Adobe primere pro using proxy files.

a) what were your original shoot settings?

b) proxy settings?

c) final export settings for youtube?

a) 1080 25p

b) Yes...downconvert all files in SD using media encoder, edit, than rename clips. Remember to create an HD desktop project so...

c) a normal 720 25p mpg it will works fine or use another NLE and export.

The factory setting of the 3' monitor it's sharper than the h264 we got from files...so, as I told, we corrected only the last sequence, the seagull (hand-held camera...).

Nope...they are not color graded. We corrected only the last sequence, the one of the seagull, that were a little bit overexposed.

Thanks. This is 1080 25p. To edit we used Adobe Premiere CS4 (using proxy files low res method).
