  • @80jellybaby Thank you so much!!!

  • Avete usato anche un polarizzatore in fase di ripresa ? o i colori sono solo effetto della color? grazie, ciao

  • awesome footage wow. did you use any type of color correction? and what lens did you use?

  • Looks incredible! Great job.

I'm asking anyone who wants to answer:

Should I sell my HVX (DTE and accessories) for a 7D + lenses/ accessories?

  • @BillyRunsShow

already sold my canon xlh1, n got the 7d. unbelievable how shit changes in a few short years. got 3 lenses Tamron 70-200 2.8 macro - tamron 17-50 2.8 vc n everyone needs a 50mm 1.8 prime 4 100. bucs. the 50 is the best lens lol. geeat shots in this test, btw.

  • Whats up with the focus on 300mm? Doesn't look sharp at all how is that Sigma?

  • ha ha -- the dog pissed on the fishermans stuff

  • perfect

  • Great compositions and amazing visual quality! I thought some of these shots were stills at first!

  • Any use of ND filters ?

  • I love how you caught the dog peeing at 0:44!

I love some of the little focus tricks you do to focus on the distant fisherman. Very nice work and interesting choice of song.

  • Dog pissing...cracks me up!

    Beautiful job shooting.

  • Very beautiful!could you tell me how did you achieve that rich black please?Did you adjust the contrast?use after effects or something?filter?I cant believe it's raw footage.

  • very nice style

  • Great job, I really enjoyed this.

  • Nice. Very nice!

  • Wow... EXCELLENT video man! Best I've seen for 7d and there's been a couple of good ones. My 7d is annoying me cos of the the converting (still haven't sorted it). Photography is wonderful though!

  • Is there any use in using lenses when filming video, or can/should almost everything be done in post processing?

  • I NEEEEEED this cameraa! Anybody know where I can get one real cheap? lol (yeaa right.)

  • oh my my...beautiful footage..thank u! for the most part what lens are you using and do you recommend that the 18-135mm lens...

  • Beautiful shot and very nice edited.

  • Raw 7d footage. Cya

  • That was some of best footage I have ever seen.

I am just being to use the 7D and I am curious why you downconverted the files to sd instead of using the native files?

  • Cause .mov 7d raw files are too heavy to edit into Nle pc. ^^

  • video is highly contrasted .. is it the raw video or u used some color grading..? let us know please.. and yea good work done .. keep up the good work --- :)

  • wow so this is pure raw footage,

with no color correction, or magic bullet effect?

  • niiice job! can't wait for my canon 7d =)

  • Very Nice work! I also have the 7D and playing with different software to see which one I like before making a final choice. Today I made one with Adobe primere pro using proxy files.

    a) what were your original shoot settings?

    b) proxy settings?

    c) final export settings for youtube?

  • a) 1080 25p

    b) Yes...downconvert all files in SD using media encoder, edit, than rename clips. Remember to create an HD desktop project so...

    c) a normal 720 25p mpg it will works fine or use another NLE and export.

  • @maurojohncapece why do we need to downconvert files?? native 7D files cant edit directly?? newbie hir

  • ive also got the same question...

  • Nice... I'm going to upload my new clip soon. I'm still working on it & learning Final Cut Pro at the same time. FCP is a lot different then Vegas.

  • it looks sharp with color pops out... any color grading?

  • The factory setting of the 3' monitor it's sharper than the h264 we got from files...so, as I told, we corrected only the last sequence, the seagull (hand-held camera...).

  • wow... that's awesome... do you still remember what setting your camera was at? like iso and shutter speed and etc...

  • any color grading? it looks great

  • Nope...they are not color graded. We corrected only the last sequence, the one of the seagull, that were a little bit overexposed.

  • great job. is this 24p, 25p or 30p? what did you edit this with?

  • Thanks. This is 1080 25p. To edit we used Adobe Premiere CS4 (using proxy files low res method).
