Detroit's time in my opinion is over... they've had their glory and now it's time to pass it on to those younger teams like L.A. and phoenix etc. Just because a team doesn't win championships.. doesnt mean people cant cheer for them.. There are plenty of teams who havent won in a long time if ever *vancouver*

This goal, right here, is why - even as an oldschool Colorado Avs fan - I don't hate Calgary. Much respect to the Flames that year for putting down the Wings. Because of them beating Detroit I pulled for Calgary in the Finals that year and will again if they get there - it's a shame they didn't beat Tampa.
