Hello, I have been a smoker for 24yrs. I have tried everything to quit and failed so many times I started to believe that I would never be able to kick this habit. One day, my 5yr. old son was sitting in the living-room crying. When I asked him what was wrong he looked at me and said, daddy I don't want you to die. ive been a smoker for 10 years and i wanted to quit smoking, its been 5 days on the electronic cigarette ( brand : blu @ walgreens $9.99) and i havent cheated and smoking a real cigarette, i really believe this product has helped me, dont get wrong the first couple of days sucked really bad, headaches, no sleep cranky all the usual BUT the e-cig helped soo much and hopefully i can stick with this, hope this helps and motivates other people to try : )

I hate extremes.. Either the FDA and or other companies with their own interests want to ban E-cigs.. or we have a panel of doctors here promoting it. Both sides are wrong because there is no evidence or studies that are clear enough to say either way.. It might be 99 percent safer than cigarettes, or it could be worse. The sad part about the e-cigarette is that it's a way back to smoking cigarettes for too many people (this is according to tropbob another youtube user) after maybe a month or two the user isn't happy anymore because they aren't getting the same nicotine found and cigarettes. E-cigarettes can probably also cause heart disease. The best way to quit smoking cigarettes is either to go cold turkey or switch to a low risk tobacco product like swedish snus or nasal snuff and maybe eventually quit.

I started using a new e cig called Apollo. Personally, they are a lot better than Blu and Green Smoke. I did not like how the taste was for Blu and also had many problems with the batteries.

I smoked for 30+ years... prior to these gadgets, I was smoking more than 20 sticks a day... Thanks to this device, I haven't touched - nor craved - for the real thing for more than a month. I have also noticed that my dependence on this has gone down from 1 cartridge a week to the same cartridge lasting a full two weeks.
If you smoke, do try it. If you don't smoke, don't start it.

They really do work. I was diagnosed with diabetes last year &, at that time, I was still smoking tobacco. I've been using the e-cig for almost a year, now, & I don't miss regular cigs at all. My doctor even approves of me doing this. Bash me, if you wish, but my making this switch just shows I have the strenght & power to actually take charge of my life & make improvements on things such as my health.

In case you're unaware, there have been zero reports of people dying from e-cigarettes. And let's see, now, how many people have we heard about, dying from tobacco? Too many to count.
