everytime when my 9yr old on this song, it just bring tears to him n our whole family as we can feel the pain n sorrow he's going thru even now. we lost our best fren, a very fine fighter pilot last yr n the pain till now nvr go away. may peace be upon Adam and may God bless David with strength to carry on.
This song proves how much David loved his brother Adam. He was willing to take his brothers place so he wouldn't be in any pain. R.I.P. Adam and the best of luck to David in the future.
My thoughts and prayers are with David and Adam's family. Adam passed away yesterday. David announced it today after he ran for Race for Hope to raise money for reseach for brain cancer. He personally raised over $50K and his team raised over 90K with over $2 million raised. He said he will come back every year. What an incredible human being he is. A man of action, not just words. He is a man with a beautiful soul and heart. We love you David. May Adam rest in peace.
I truly agree. So many people have lost a loved one, and now David too. I saw his speech at the Race for Hope. At first he's trying to be funny, then "On a serious note," and all of a sudden he's crying, and many viewers' hearts -including my own- are breaking at the sight. I remember Adam attended David's performance of "Always Be My Baby," and every time I listen to his rendition -that and "Permanent" and "A Daily AntheM", I just feel such sorrow for Adam's death. God bless him and David.
I heard awhile back that David Cook is dedicating a song to his brother on finale night when he performs. Now I just heard that he will be performing "Permanent." The song will be available as a download on Itunes that night and all proceeds will go to David Cook's charity for brain tumour research that he recently set up for his brother Adam, whom he lost a couple of weeks ago to cancer.
There will not be a dry eye in the place, nor at home.
