im actually in arizona and we had regionals in utah with texas, colorado, utah and arizona....i know im not that great, but its my first track season so im doing what i can
3 weeks is a long time so the most important thing that you can do is stay healthy. Make sure that you spend extra time doing static and ballistic stretches. I'm sure that your coach has done an excellent job getting you in shape so at this point you should reducing the distance and really focusing on speed, speed, speed.
From what I see on your video, you are obviously a very strong runner, really good body position and your run very relaxed. While your doing you speed training really focus on getting a little more knee lift and being really aggresive with your arm swing- this will pay huge dividends when experience lactic shock. Remember it's the little things that shave tenths off of seconds, potentially the difference between 50 and 49.
It actually is the Jr. olympics, Each state has their own Regional meet which leads to hte National also known as the AAU Jr. Olypic Games located in the largest states of the country my brother made it 6 years in the row and hhe got 3rd last year in Detroit, Michigan so you should probably pick up some information before you go "This aint jr. olypics so..."
