[Review] Jaybird Sportsband SB2 Bluetooth Headphones

$99? SUPER RIPOFF, PEOPLE...READ THIS:

I bought Zonda bluetooth headphones which are the SAME as the headphones on the video above (Google/ebay/youtube it). BOTH have the same circuit board when they were opened. And you know what else? I bought the Zonda headphones for $15 on a one day sale!!!! Now they cost $40-$50.

Do these work with any bluetooth device? what if I want to use them with my iPod classic? Must I purchase an adapter piece or does this come included in the box?

@Hellbomber Yes. Any bluetooth device. If you don't have bluetooth on your ipod, you can buy the adapter.

Does this work on Nokia N9? And can u still hear background noise while music is played?

@Hysterlc Yes it should. Noise cancellation is pretty good on these, but they are still on the ear headphones so background noise will still come in. Get the JF3 Freedom in ears if you want the best noise cancelling.

So if u hav it connected to an iPhone 4, can u only switch tracks via voice control? Can u simply press the next song button on the phone?

@Brad8THFC Yes, but voice control is bad. To activate it, you have to push the power button for like 2 seconds and you will hear a beep. Problem is, you sometimes hold the button too long and the headset shuts off. Yes, you can push the next track button on the Iphone or choose songs or whatever. I find the headset's next track button to be way better though.

I have a blackberry, as long as i have the 3.5mm jack in my phone i can still play music right? and will this work as a bluetooth for it as well or only iphones? please reply soon! thanks

@0technopuck0 If your blackberry has bluetooth, then this will work for it. This product does not have a 3.5mm jack connection so you can't connect it that way. Hope it helps!

@hunterneal123 It's made for sports. These are sweatproof headphones. Whereas other headphones might short out due to moisture getting into the circuitry, the Jaybirds do not have that issue. They are guaranteed for life against sweat.

@hunterneal123 No, probably not good for playing sports, but take a look at the Jaybird JF3 Freedoms. I have a review posted. Those will for sure not fall out and they have an excellent range indoors. Outdoors you may have to use an armband.

Can you skip tracks on apple devices using the headphone buttons? because i saw headphones pretty similar to these that had that problem, they werent able to skip tracks on apple stuff

@c1xcx Yes you can. I have an Iphone 4 and it works. I've also tried it on a Ipod touch and it works as well.

im sure this headset works on iphone and ipod touch because they do have bluetooth and iOS, but

the nano doesnt have bluetooth, i have to plug in the transmitter :S im asking because i saw a lot of comments about this headset compatibility issues with apple

@c1xcx I have no idea about that. You'd have to contact Jaybird. Unfortunately I don't have an Ipod Nano or the bluetooth transmitter. =/

comfortable, durable. look good, its just that for that money you would expect something more as far as sound even though they sound well

@strongbreed Yeah, they're pretty good, and they're still going strong. People still ask me where I get these in the gym haha. As far as sound quality, I tend not to expect too much out of bluetooth headsets, but these sound a lot better compared to other bluetooth sets I have like the Motorola S305.

Hey, great video. One question; do you know how much of a difference Bluetooth makes to the battery life of the iPhone? I have a 3GS and they're not exactly renown for their battery life!!

@Spaghetti888 No Idea. Sorry. I typically only turn it on when I need to. That's probably your best bet to maximize battery life.

@hanzmanz95 Sound clarity is very good for what these are meant for. (Gym, sports, etc.) It also leans a bit more bassy. They definitely aren't audiophile headphones. Noise canceling is what you'd expect on a closed ear set of headphones.
