  • hihi love russian air force

  • Hello sukhoi good bye US planes

  • just beautiful....

  • I like the su-33, might not be as technically advanced as the American F series, but its got that charm about it.

  • Beautiful airplane!

  • The shot of the Flankers flying over the lake is a fake composite shot. They edited flying Flankers over a fake background.

  • Sweet looking ride. Props to the Russian Navy!

  • f-15 once again

  • Our aviation su*cks cause of corruption. How much of our pilots can fly like that ?

  • Comment removed

  • Классное видео! Самолет который без лебедки взлетает в несколько десятком метров полосы, это что то! Интересно, а американец взлетел бы с нашего авианосца?

  • Wait, you can even use an Su-33 as a tanker to refuel another su-33? Why?

    Nice tailslide and cobra though.

  • @kozmon0t well the us navy are considering using mod f18 hornets as a refueling tanker for other f18's so why not??

  • @ni1074 f-18's refueling f-18's? That's interesting.

The f-18 is America's best plane, in terms of what they do vs what they cost

the f-35 is shaping up to be an expensive failure

  • @kozmon0t the F-16 is the best aircraft in the history of aerial combat when it comes to value for money, and that is 100% UNARGUABLE.

  • @hotpocketpoison then why do so many countries buy mig-29's instead? Looks like I just argued it.

  • @kozmon0t because most were former soviet bloc countries, and if you look it up you will find that more countries choose the F-16 over the MiG-29 and most of the countries that have the MiG-29 have less than 20 in their inventory, where as countries that have chosen the F-16 have many more than that. not to mention over 4450 F-16 have been built while only about 1600 MiG-29 have been built

  • @hotpocketpoison the US sells more because it can make more. That has nothing to do with the plane itself. Just the bloated US military industry, which has recently bankrupted the country.

Countries that buy f-16's are typically ones with tons of money to waste, and they want large air forces.

But if it's how many were sold, mig-21 has all modern jets beat by far. Over 10,000 built, a record that will likely stand forever.

  • @kozmon0t you just completely contradicted yourself, you said that the only reason the US sold more planes was because we make more, however you then stated that the most produced jet was russian...why? and not to mention the F-16 has superior statistics compared to the MiG-29 and costs MUCH less(around$12million less). and are you saying that countries like venezuela, afghanistan, and iraq have a lot of money to spend? not to mention the countries that ARE rich would prefer the F-16 over the MiG-29

  • @hotpocketpoison No I didn't, you just apparently can't read very well.

The mig-21 is an older plane and relatively inexpensive to make, and has been used for many decades, whereas the United States is constantly changing its designs. If the US had kept making F4's, for example, there would be far more f-4's than mig-21's. I only mention mig-21 to point out that total sold means nothing.

Your cost and superior statistics comments are ridiculous. You're just trolling this video. Fuck off.

  • @kozmon0t

it's called "buddy tanking" and can be more convenient in some situations.

If the airplanes have to launch with heavy load and need an extra shot of fuel for a long range mission,

if there is no tanker around (in case of Adm. Kuznetsov, no tankers can take off from it), if a tanker is too heavy and slow etc.

  • @kozmon0t

The SU-33 is a BIG plane by fighter standards, and having a fast tanker could be useful in a pinch.

  • Russian jets are so powerful and efficient, they dont even need a winch.

  • @Aikay373 That is cool, but what good is it with no ordinance? Bombs, missiles, fuel tanks, bullets, are kind of critical to the mission. And the american carriers can launch and recover at the same time because they have catapults. Russians cannot.

  • @PuertoRicanVideo I'll give you a summary of an explanation I posted on another video. Often, when its impossible to take off with a full war load, one aircraft full of fuel but no weapons will take off and serve as a tanker, while the weapon-laden warplanes will take off with little fuel and join up with the tankers to fill their tanks. In this manner, they bypass the takeoff weight limit and render your argument invalid.

  • @camwizardoz So the Russians have developed a way to use 2 fighters to do the job of 1 fighter. Yes, my argument is so invalid.

  • @PuertoRicanVideo The Americans do it as well, steam catapults can't shoot everything off the deck, its not a rare tactic. Your argument is invalid.

  • Nice very nice :) SU rok
