Now you see why window film isn't an approved method of hurricane protection. The whole purpose of hurricane protection is to keep the wind from pressurizing the structure which, in turn, prevents the roof from blowing off.

This 3M does not lower your insurance. Steel shutters do. If a cured window is so much better why not show one?
