I am so behind on comics right now, but I have to go get this one. When you mentioned the grandmother dying it made me think of when characters die in family films. When I worked at a rental store, parents never wanted to rent movies where main characters died. They thought it would be too much for their kids. My parents never cared about that. As long as it didn't have too much sex they were cool with what I watched.

I haven't read it yet, but Power Pack is a good book to get away from the darker comics.
