  • Ok I'm just a complete noob when it comes to chemistry, but can someone tell why going from solid to liquid ( melting ) is endothermic ( requires energy ). While the solid to gas change release energy, yet still is called endothermic? Thanks for the great videos though, you're way better than my physics & chemistry teachers!

  • Good video. Also, water do actually change state from solid directly to gas, it take some time but it is observable.

  • You said for sublimation that you release energy, yet it's endothermic...Don't you mean that you require or need energy to go from solid or gas?
