ii first saw one of these in im not shure but it was in either coney island or rockaway beach but their was some guy ridin something simalr but it was bigger im shure it wasnt a car cuase i saw the chains and the whels and what most bikes have but it was higher and had a searing wheel and kinda had like bars as the form of a car frame

...nice quad-job! ...for myself, I'd have to put a pair of 500Watt hub motor wheels on th' back...crippled, can't peddle for shyte. My old Raleigh Talon just sits in a barn aging away...

The front axles are the 14 mm axles that came with the wheels, just offset to one side. :)

@notchic Nowhere that I'm aware of. This one was built from plans as a delta trike, originally, then converted to a quad.

Nice quad. What I want to know is, does the chain drive BOTH rear wheels like a regular automobile..i.e...differential spider gears of some sorts? It would be really badass if it did - something I'm building for my mechanical engineering class.

@theroklobman Thanx! No, although it's only a 1-wheel drive, it IS a split rear axle (2 seperate axles), so it DOES differentiate while cornering.

@rodjava You're right! 24s rear, 20s front. Lotsa detailed pics on my website at BikesAndTrikesAndMoreDotCom. The seat is old, discontinued stock from ActionBent.

Thanx, YSH! I think it would be great on a long trip, but you'd prolly need a bigger cargo rack for a cargo box or bigger bags. Either that, or u could pull a trailer. I'm not physically able to do long rides anymore, but this one IS super comforable! :)
