  • @blackwinter35 That sounds like it was a Rhodes Cycle...

  • Very nice! Good music too!

  • love it !!!

  • Pop a wheelie!!!!

  • @bmfc187 LOL! I wish I COULD!

  • that guys face is intense!!!

  • tel me plz how's that sound?

  • ...nice quad-job! ...for myself, I'd have to put a pair of 500Watt hub motor wheels on th' back...crippled, can't peddle for shyte. My old Raleigh Talon just sits in a barn aging away...

  • @SittingMooseShaman Thanx! This one's strictly human-powered. I already have an electric trike with a front hub motor. Can't afford another! :-)

  • Thanks for sharing your very nice quad with us. It would be much nicer w/o the "music" on the video. I would have liked some spoken comments by you also. I don't know if you ever did speak, as I had to turn off the sound!

  • @ohnoIvebeentricked bikes cause prostrate damage

  • yeah love the song

  • put an engine mate !!

  • Interesting machine but the music should be removed.

  • WHY?

  • Know what would be twice as good as this? A bicycle with EIGHT WHEELS!

  • The front axles are the 14 mm axles that came with the wheels, just offset to one side. :)

  • did you build the front axle? using what spindles?

  • @broncoben73 The front axles are the 14 mm axles that came with the wheels, just offset to one side. :)

  • my sled has the steering and linkage from a go-cart, its the easy fix

  • What name-brand of a seat?

I never seen seat like this.

    You made it?

  • Do you think this would be suitable to install one of those Chinese made 66cc/80cc motorized bike kits?

  • @notchic Sure, why not. :)

  • Where can I buy one of these or get a build kit?

  • @notchic Nowhere that I'm aware of. This one was built from plans as a delta trike, originally, then converted to a quad.

  • @notchic "ATOMIC ZOMBIE EXTREME MACHINES" great site ,has the best plans I bought plans for Delta Wolf and the Quad Racer .

  • Nice quad. What I want to know is, does the chain drive BOTH rear wheels like a regular automobile..i.e...differential spider gears of some sorts? It would be really badass if it did - something I'm building for my mechanical engineering class.

  • @theroklobman Thanx! No, although it's only a 1-wheel drive, it IS a split rear axle (2 seperate axles), so it DOES differentiate while cornering.

  • I forgot to ask you what size tires do you have in the rear? Looks larger than 20" and where did you get that seat?

  • @rodjava You're right! 24s rear, 20s front. Lotsa detailed pics on my website at BikesAndTrikesAndMoreDotCom. The seat is old, discontinued stock from ActionBent.

  • Sir Joey,

    Great quadcycle!

Any chance of posting a vid of your transmission? Where did you get your ideas or plans for the original delta trike?

    Thanks again for sharing.

    Rod

  • Thanx, Rod! Might be able to shoot another vid when I get time. The original trike plans can be found on AtomicZombieDotCom. This one's STILL my favorite ride!

  • How big is a quadricycle's seat?

  • Really neat design. Are you from a manufacturing background?

  • Thank you! ....& yeah, more or less.

  • Have you ever considered a Granny Bike Kit conversion?

  • sweet glory. wish i could give this vid more than five stars

  • Wow, thanx a lot! Most kind of you! :)

  • That is an awesome ride! I want to build one and use it as a commuter. Also, how do you think it would do on a long road trip? Great job!

  • Thanx, YSH! I think it would be great on a long trip, but you'd prolly need a bigger cargo rack for a cargo box or bigger bags. Either that, or u could pull a trailer. I'm not physically able to do long rides anymore, but this one IS super comforable! :)

  • who did the awsome tribute to GODZILLA??

  • Watch the vid all the way to the end, & you'll see! :)

  • @trx1961 Racer X

  • Joey! This thing looks KILLER. What an awesome quad. Pretty nice road you've got there for riding it, too. I hope you really enjoy your latest creation.

Be sure to post a link at Atomic Zombie.

  • Thanx, buddy! Yeah, out here in the boonies, there's very little traffic.

And yeah, I posted a thread in the AZ forum! :)
