  • I tiled around the toilet for my mother. It was also becuase she wanted it to sit lower. It is being creative inginuitive.

  • @Scott1972011 You're a good man! Good son too. hahaha

  • common where's the class out here? The man is great, he shows how he did it and it worked. Why insult? At least he is making a video and being productive around his house. It would be interesting to see the ones with trash talk to do a quick 360 shot around their house and then we most likely will see a trashy house or maybe a 40 year old living with his mother using her internet to surf you tube. Thanks for the video @rpeek! Great job!

  • @Scott1972011 Thanks man. I appreciate it. Yea, I've already figured it out. The folks that critisize the most is the one's who never loaded a video. hahaha. You Rock.

  • Please stay away from my house

  • lol-tiling around a toilet! ive seen it all now-what a dumb fuck

  • @1234roadking1 Words of the wise, spoken quietly, should be heard. Ecclesiastes 9:17

  • @rpeek i apologize! lol-im in shock why anyone would try this-serves no purpose and takes 10x longer to cut

  • @1234roadking1 I could have done it either way. My wife asked me to do it this way. I love her and it pleases me to make her happy, even if it makes a lot of other people ugly. If she'd asked me to put it on the wall I might have objected, but having it mounted a little lower doesn't hurt anything, and this toilet will be just fine for the rest of our lives just as it is...

  • exactly lift the fucking toilet and tile under it retard, also he just held that tile ,and kept sitting down with a marker in his hand thats it then over he didnt even show how he measured it,in uk you would be sacked we dont hire retarded idiots go and tak e a course .

  • @ayomomamao Proverbs 12:13 An evil man is trapped by his sinful talk, but a righteous man escapes trouble.

  • HAHA! Your just saying that about your wife, because really, you dont have a fucking scooby-do about what your doing.

  • @seandapaul21 Pretty much..

  • i dont get it..... why didnt you just tile under the toilet?

  • @fugiikowa You're jokin' right? haha. Haven't read any of the comments, especially the one almost directly under this one, or did read them and just thought you'd give the chain one more yank? Which is it..

  • Y don't you just pull the toilet ? It would save a lot of time and tile...

  • @mgthaking Okay then. For the hundreth time. My wife is short. If I'd tiled under the toilet the toilet would have been taller. She asked me to make it shorter. I love my wife more than you, so just deal with it okay?

  • @rpeek Well buy her some new legs then!!!!

  • they look all over the place to me if did a job like that i be walkin away with no cash

  • Should have tiled under toilet.. 10 times quicker and much neater!! im sure your short wife could have dealt with the massive increase in height.... 10mm!! doh...

  • @saggybitch Appreciate the advice, but to be honest I have to live with my short wife and I don't have to live with you, so I'll do it the way she wanted me to. Nothing personal..

  • The tiles look mis-alligned to me. Nice scribing on the diagonal though, although personally I would have gone under the WC on what looks like a new install???

  • @amsiesmodels My wife is short. She wanted the toilet as short as possible. That's why I did that.

  • I cut the thick ceramic tiles using a tile cutting blade that you connect to a bit which goes into a standard handheld drill... this blade pretty much scrapes at the tile rapidly and cuts through it... no need for a wet anything

  • good luck when you try to change the toilet, every one has different size...heheh...

  • @atreusz77 Don't think I'll change that one in my lifetime... Maybe the next owner will curse me.. hahaha.

  • @rpeek your wife wont like the added 1/4 " height of laying the tile under the toilet? this is the wrong way to do it. Always lay under the toilet. I personally despise cutting around anything including cabinets, showers etc. I'll always it up and lay under.

  • Small world... I try to clawhammer myself, and I'm also about to attempt my first tile job. I was enjoying the background old -time and realized I've watched many of your vids. Great work all around!

  • @realgratefulone Thank You.. Good luck with your project. Mine worked out pretty well..

  • I did not know that machine for cutting tiles, lubricated with water.

    Very good job!!!

  • You are the man!!! most of us would not try to tackle this...maybe not perfect but ok for folks for me...i am going to try a tile job in my house..

  • Did you rent that saw? I'm going to be doing tile work in the future. I'm wondering if they can be rented, or if you have to buy them.

  • @RandallFlaggNY My Dad gave me one but the motor burned out, so I bought one off ebay. Kept the old one for the spare blade and stuff.. Seems like it was a bit over $100 for it. Well worth it.

  • Intricate work, ol man. Keep smiling!

    George

  • I'm in Awe, again! There ain't no way I could have made cuts with that measure of...measure! You amaze me at every turn ( cept washin cars) wow!
