  • nice woke man thankx

  • and ill give an example of foot lamberts. my screen is 100"

so its h is 53" and w is 85" 53*85= 4505 then 4505/144= 31.28 round down to 31 and my lumens is 300ansi so 300/31= 10fl you want to stay between 12 and 16. and in my case is just used a diy paint solution that added a 2.0 gain.

  • i need to make a huge man so what is it again man i need huge help please man contact meee !

  • @crisbnh13

just go to this site "projectorcentral" com (it wont let me put a link, and it will tell you how far your projector need to be from the screen to make the size you want.

also another thing to take into account is foot lambert how bright your picture will be at the distance your pj will be, to figure that out. you multiply the (h*w)/144= ? then take how many lumens your pj is 1000ansi/what the number that came out in the first equation. make sure to round up or down.

  • @mecimessiah yeah i understand this but whats the white fabric that you used?

  • @crisbnh13

he said he used some sort of vinyl. myself i used thrifty white hardboard. you can get it from home depot in the wall panel section it comes in 8' x 4' foot pieces. the biggest screen you can get from one is a 98" screen.

if you'd like to check a site that offers alot of information google (since it wont let me post link) "avs diy screens" alot of good solid info.

  • where could I find online the white sheet (I need one bigger than yours, about 5 m x 3 m)...thanks

  • What are the materials did you use to build the screen!?

  • what are mesurements?..is the vinyl on top or the cloth behind the vinyl?....so you got the cartboard first ?what kind of cardboard?

  • hve you ever thought about puttin a back light on it

  • TWIN SISTER MODULE LUCY SPRINZ 1 GARDEN COURT CHAMBERS MAGAZINE

  • Well done miles, that was very informative, you done well, like you say that looks as good as a 1000 pound job.

  • how much would you say it weighs all together like that? im trying to make one for my apartment, i want to have it hang from the ceiling , thanks and good job on that

  • thx 4 the vid! I own an hd65 for 2 years now. This machine is a true bargain. it is a delite to watch movies and play xbox360 with it! don't worry about 720p. most people can't tell any difference anyhow .

  • ok ok whats that again.. a sheet..?

  • hey man what are the dimensions for your screen?

  • Great Job Myles!!!! Im going to make this. I need to know what type of projector do I need to show presentations from my laptop???

  • How far is your projector from the screen on the wall? Im getting a projector but im not sure if im going to have a big screen

  • is there alot of diffrence between the screen and a white wall

  • @xMATHIEx nope. i had my hd66 on a wall that was off white and it looked fine so you don't necessarily need a screen if you have a nice white wall

  • @xMATHIEx it honestly depends on the paint used for the wall. stand paint might cause a bright glare. aside from the glare it looks fine.

  • Nice docuvid. How big of a screen can go with that projector?

  • is there any lag for online play?? or is it real time?

  • @JadexPrincessx : There is no lag on online play

  • hi dood what kind sheet or cloth didu used for it?????

  • Hey. What size is that screen? And where did you buy the vinyl and duck cloth?

  • Need some light-blocking window liners (Wal-Mart has 'em)... really helps with getting good contrast and deep, detailed blacks...

  • Well hello projecter :) 1:01

  • See our Rear Projection screen

Just search "Bảng Tương Tác với lớp BẢY " on youtube

  • hello...!! plz give me the exact measurement of your screen.

  • Clever boy, i think i might just have to modify this to suit my own ideas, nice one!

  • The best material to use is called black out fabric. It is the same fabric a lot of photographers use. I will not let any light through the back of the screen. I just built a 100" screen with this fabric and it looks VERY NICE. It was $14.99 for the fabric.

  • Great screen but I hate to see that you used blackout cloth. Real projection screen material is either made of PVC or fiberglass coated in PVC. You may like to look into ProScreens at BuildYourOwnProjectionScreen com I have found that they are the best projection screen material companies out there.

  • Hi, do you use your projector for gaming, hows the fast bits i mean hi photo bluring...

and also just wondering would your/my projection screen work if the material i used was black?

  • The material is blackout cloth iv just made mine for £40 check it out :D

  • great job dude u saved urself alot of money, incase i missed it what was the white material used?

  • GREAT JOB THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL THANKS

  • You should make these and sell them to people haha, your really good at it. I'm jealous!

  • Good job bro. It looks GOOD!

  • the projector has to be linked to a DVD or computer ?right ? (excuse my question cuz i don't know anything about projectors :P)

  • @kokym8 yeah or a ps2/3 or xbox, i just found out like 1 month ago so don't worry

  • @arthurtats

thank u and thank god :) that means that my plans work on this thing

  • @kokym8 haha yup,

  • what kind of projector is that?

  • so what do i need to build a screen i seen u got the wood is it a whole sheet of duck cloth and if so how do u attach the vinyl to the duck sheet as for the vinyl is it just plain white with no lines.

  • where you got ur cloth at?

  • u on crack mate ?

  • hey isn't that too high when gaming? your neck might hurt-since we play online games 4to8hours :D actually your projector should stand or place 90 degree flat & straight, so you screen will sit on perfect level like you see on flat screen tv stand or table, height shouldn't be higher than those table- all i did was bought a very gud quality of white paint and painted on my room wall and ceiling with measured-u dont have to make those crappy screens lol btw urs nice good job

  • You did a greeeaaat job.. but there is one problem... IM VERY JEALOUS! I dont even hav a projector but my dream is to make a Home Theater out of my room! YOU LUCKY, LUCKY PERSON...

  • duck cloth and vinyl? Are you kidding me? What is the gain of your screen? Did you do any research? Contrary to popular belief, there are huge differences in screens. And certain screens look much better with particular projectors. If not, you could simply go to JC Penney when they have their next "white sale" and hang a bed sheet. I'll grant you that high quality screens are pretty much useless with cheap projectors.

  • Thanks! I was about to go spend 300 dollars buying the actual screen material. The duck cloth works great! I appreciate this video!

  • great video, what projector is that and what's the brightness in lumens?

  • what projector is that? hd65?

  • Projector screens start at about $120, Where did you get a thousand dollars from? go to NexTag(dot)com and type: Manual Pull Down Projection Screen - 72" X 96" - Matte White - they arent that expensive and for your information, Grey material works extremely better than white.... Put some sweats up in front of the screen and see how brite it is on the grey.

  • Nice I purchased the Duck Cloth material at Hobby Lobby, for a screen 8x4 for $20, and it made a nice screen. Thanks for the great money saving idea. Keep up the good work.

  • EY WAT MATERIALS DID U USE FOR THE SCREEN ? WHERE CAN I BUY IT.. WAT THE MATERIAL FOR THE SCREEN IS CALL?

  • Nice vid, but your room isn't 15 feet across, it's maybe 12 at most, my room is 12x10, and I have like, a third more room than it seems you do in yours, i have a full sized bed, a FULL sized computer desk, and a 42 inch tv, and i have room for several people to lay down on the ground.

nice job though making the screen!

  • nice, but mine is sexier

  • can show urself u sound cute :)

  • SHITTT i paid close to $1000 for my 2:35 138" Elite fix screen

    and i thought i got a good price :(

  • Great job man.

I'm going to build one myself.

I was wondering what the material is to project on?

    Thx

  • Optoma HD65 is great projector.

  • What material did you use for the showing surface of the screen?

  • what are the messurements on it

  • Material plzzzzzzzzzz!

  • you should post some COD: MW2 gameplay.

  • hey just wondering could you tell me the layers that the screen has thanks .... i subscribed

  • I just made one like this which measures about 9' long, by about 7' high. Which measured diagnally is 130".

It took me probably about 5-10 hours to make the frame, put the screen on the frame, and put the outside frame on it.

It was about $100.00 or a little more, but it looks awesome. I bought a cheap projector after doing research, and it looks like a 130" tv its really clear.

  • how long did it take to make the screen??

  • is this chanz sounds like chanz

  • awsome job dude.. great video.

  • Great videos bro

  • hey nice man , how much was the projector?

  • @acula1982 and yet doesn't know how to use a pause button or a tripod.....

  • how much did u pay for your projector

  • hey wasup , im about building a 110'' screen projector but im just not relly sure what kind of material ? it's possible i can find a material for this size ?

  • White duck cloth fabric

  • @technoreviews and how much did that cost you?

  • @lonestarsadman Glass beaded material - Best.

  • Good screen anyway dude!

  • A much better material is MDF-plate (wood). It is very smooth and VERY cheap. Then you paint it with grey/white depending on what kind of projector you will use.

This will result in much smoother and accurate picture.

  • The Beach lol cool movie.

  • only 70 dollars. SWEET

  • thats awesome man. what kind of projector is that miles? and can you show it with the lights off/at night. i'd like to see the full clarity of the picture..thanks.

  • thanks i looked at ur vidoes there very good on your projector is there a big diffrence from hd to blu ray

  • Hello ,,Are you use your projector on Cinema mode ???????

  • u almost sound like jerry lewis

  • whats the name of the material (cloth)

  • What if you just have a white wall? Im thinking of getting one but have no idea about them...

  • Believe it or not a white wall would work great just use tape for the borders and it will look like a perfect fit

  • Cool...what kind of tape?

  • Gorilla tape

  • I don't understand how the projector works with the screen =[. We're thinking of building a screen as well, and purchasing an HD projector. Do you focus the projector to fill up the screen. If so, where do the black letter boxes go? I never see any letter boxes when people have their screens! This is all so confusing lol and I really want to get this home theater down. Can you tell me how it all works?

  • i recommend you get the projector first so you can figure out how big of a image you want. Then measure the image. Then get the wood. It is easier than you think, What black boxes. And you can zoom in and out to make the image fit the screen.

  • I went to bestbuy and they had one setup,it looked like total crap. I attribute that to bestbuy and not the projectors performance. Their was one at BB this past weekend open box for 500 and I almost bought it but the display was so horrible I didn't but your video is making me want to go get it right now. The only thing I'm worried about is brightness. What brightness mode do you have it on? Is that the brightest setting?
