It was a great game for its time too, especially four player split-screen on the Dreamcast version.

wow... the memories.... I remember this game back when I started enjoying rally... I mean, these guys were masters of all terrains... snow, dirt, mud, tarmac.... by today standards of course, it looks like a cga computer game (ja not quite, but very old), but back then it made a big impression... thanx for the vid! (btw, if you haven't seen the CLIMB DANCE video, check it out... it was a bonus on V-rally 2)

Got this game with my PS1 back when I was 8. Remember thinking this cinematic was almost 100% photorealistic. Looking back, it's nowhere near real life, but they were damn good graphics for their time.

I had this game on the original PS then again on the DC, was a great game. I remember being captivated thinkin the upcoming Xbox would do graphics like this intro in real time, of course it dint work like that but it still had me hooked for a very long time. The DC and this game were a great combination, i just wish they would make another game on the current consoles.....

This game was and still is brilliant. :D. I have the 'V Rally 2 Expert Edition' version of this game for the Sega Dreamcast and I have also the the Playstation 1 version too. The memories. :)

The piano intro is so awesome and then the rest of the song rocks. Great drums, great guitars, it''s not a surprise that it is one of those classic good old songs back from the PSX. And not to mention the game was really fun too, though the snow levels were a pain. lol

Ha V-Rally 2 was awesome! I liked the editor a lot, too bad racing games today don't have a simple yet functional editor like that. I always set the track to the australia theme and lots of jumps and downhill fast turns. Awesome game! I believe it had a good soundtrack too (other than this track). Is an OST for the game out there?

I agree. I dont think I've ever played a racing/rally game thats kept me so interested. The list of bonus cars was very interesting and you wanted to unlock each one.

The track editor was so simple but so effective. Decent graphics and fun handling and an amazing intro video.

Sure it wasnt as realistic as Colin McRae 2.0 but it was a more complete game package. There was even that unlockable 1989 vide of the peugeot 405 T16 climbing pikes peak. Classic game.
