Very interesting. The introduction on convergence is very interesting. It is important to have as much concrete evidence as possible in order to be credible in scientific circles.
Is it possible that the DNA found in the great lakes region of the USA was brought there during the last great war of the Nephites spanning about 200 years? If possible/true could this influx of Nephites have caused the native Hopewell to be ultimately destroyed in the middle of the Nephite/Lamanite battle?
@ahburner If you are speaking about the X2a, then I would say no. It came to the Americas prior to The Book of Mormon people arrived. But, I think there is plenty of evidence that Mayan people migrated North to that way. In an archaeological sense, I would agree.
Some, like the current "Reflections of Christ" exhibit, focus on theology familiar to all Christians. The exhibit is a collection of photographs depicting events from the life of Jesus Christ as told in the New Testament. The temporary exhibit will close Jan. 18.
@swedesmusic do you know how long the koran has stood for does that make it real?
Muslims believe that the Qur’an was repeatedly revealed from Allah to Muhammad verbally through the angel Jibrīl (Gabriel) over a period of approximately twenty-three years, beginning in 610 CE

Read the Book of Mormon and imagine a teenage, uneducated farm boy in 1830 writing it in under 3 months.
Yeah right. Case closed. Where did this complex volume come from???
To date no critics have a real answer for this mystery. All they can do is attack Joseph's methods and character.
Yet the book stands....

What does an atheistic, dyslexic, insomniac do?
He stays up all night wondering if there really is a dog.
