Calico is actually a pattern not a breed, and many cats people call calicos are actually tortie and whites. A TRUE calico is a mostly white cat with a few patched of color. If the cat is mostly color with some white its a tortie and white.
And...The tonkinese here is actually a burmese ( european type )...And norwegians in America ( Some ), look more like persians than the real ones that exist in Europe, Brazil, etc....Check out what real Norwegians look like and the breed's history...they are magnificent cats! Not really known in America...they look wild and powerful, yet diferent from Maie coons. But still a nordic breed related to Maine coons. Perhaps they might even be the Maine coon's ancesters...Thanx :))
European shorthair is not like that at all...this cat is a british to american shorthair of some kind!...Europeans are more like "wild ancient type"...much longer muzzle, not so cobby ...in fact, they are long in apearence, yet powerful cats with developed muscles and very athletic...They are usally quite large as well and their fur is shiny and close to the body....And very intelegent cats too! :)
