Look into it im sure theres a track near you that supports drift days , and alot of them , aslong as you have the requirements lets you drive what youve brought. And the most "exspensive" repairs would be the tires , as you would imagine!

ok, you and all other peoples, stop critising, just because you see bad drifts, its rc, they might be a little un-expeirienced in the drifting world, but they will get better, and you probably dont get the physiscs of how different drifting is with rc, instead of actual cars drifting

these guys might be running d-box technology, its like a censor for your rc and when you put a certain agle on it quickly is automatically countersteers for you, and if makes it easier.... and also, these cars are all wheel drive, and probably most of them have independant suspension

Diving a REAL car means: Spending money buying , standing in the traffic jam, getting tickets by the police, getting expensive repairs etc. Real drifting ? If you want to get more tickets or loosing your license, just do it ;-) So in the 1:10th world its much less complicted and expensive. But I would agree with your opinion 100%. I would love to do it in a 1:1 car.

At least i think viper still exist, their slogan was "If you get a ticket, we will pay it." So they were pretty confident in their product. I drift on a track and the team im with drifts on a track only. No tickets at all. Keiichi Tschuiya aka Drift King first started drifting on public roads but after being caught he lost his D1 license and his real license he encourages all drivers to only drive on closed courses. drifting is exspensive though with tires and parts

lookin at them they are all hpi and tamyia so a 26t sport tune would be my guess as that is what they come with as standard but they may have been upgraded to the equivalent brushless motor.
