Nonsense. Anybody can use a lightsaber with sufficient training; the reason it's only usually seen in the hands of Force-users is because it's so potentially dangerous to the wielder that it takes Force-sensitivity to be able to use one safely and effectively.

The issue is weight- by all accounts in the universe, there is literally no weight in the blade, making it harder to determine where it is, or compensate for disposition when it comes into contact with another saber, than it would with something solid.
