  • Those are nice!! i like it Thanks for the vid

  • beautiful! You hair is fab. Do you also do makeup tutorials because you are beautiful as well.

  • @Neza006 Thanks! No makeup tutorials yet. I don't wear much and I'm still learning.

  • I love it I will try it tomorrow...Thanks

  • @msphilly2nc Thanks!

  • Thank you so much for your video! Your video really help me on doing my finger Coil.

  • @my4hair Thanks great! I'm glad it helped.

  • Its kinda like the comb twists, only a different method without the comb. :-) I love it!

  • @kendrathomas06 Exactly! I haven't tried doing comb twists but I've seen them done. Looks like more work to me. Thanks for watching!

  • your hair looks SOOOO good. wow.

  • @snootylittlecutie THANKS!

  • Nice. I am goin try gettin that product it may do wonders for my finger coils which i do a lot of the time my hair texture similar to yours

  • @Livin4Christ83 I hope you'll like it as much as I do. I'm actually going to revisit finger coils real soon. Let me know how yours turn out. Thanks for watching!

  • Your hair looks great in every video! I have two questions, do you re-dampen your hair if a section gets dry, and how do you dry you hair after styling is complete?

  • @SuperKillaCam88 Thanks! I didn't have to re-moisturize my hair b/c I only left the style in for maybe 6 days. I let my hair air dry and then I went to sleep. I hope this helps.

  • I love this video I will be trying it out on my hair very soon. I also like the fact that the hair products are not expensive

  • @Cinnabun85 I always believe in keeping it cheap. LOL! The cheap stuff works just as good if not better than the expensive stuff. I hope yours turned out ok.

  • @20pearlsNcurls I love my hair. It took a little while since it was my first time. Cant wait to see it tomorrow!!! And cant wait to also do the finger coil out in a few days.

  • Lovin your technique, I have both products so I think I may try it. Looks nice...

  • @tjackson231 Thanks!

  • Ok 20PNC I just posted my finger coils vid. I shouted you out in my vid. Lol. My coils don't look as good as yours yet, but I know I will get there. Lol.

  • Excellent video! thanks for showing us your methods!

  • @pandamadness1 Thanks! You're very welcome!

  • I really want to do a vid response to this video. I absolutely adore you and find your videos to be very informative. Do you have a review video on the ORS smooth and hold pudding? I used it on my twist out last night and the results were impressive. I added a few drops of castor oil to mine!

  • @beautyizshe Hey sis! Thanks so much! I'm glad that my vids are helpful to you. Feel free to do a vid response. I will approve it. The only review that I have is at the beginning of this video. I think I am going to do a separate one soon because I really like this product. Adding the castor oil was smart. My twist out was a little dry when I used this but the coils/coil out were fine.

  • Great video! I tried the finger coils using Giovanni direct leavin-in and eco styler gel since i didn't have the smooth and hold pudding. It came out very well and i got tons of compliments. Also I have tried the style where I applied the eco styler and combed through, it really defined my curls and that got me lots of compliments as well. I would like to try both styles with the smooth and hold pudding just to see if my hair would be less "crunchy."

  • @3delights Thank you! I haven't tried it with just gel but I have tried it with the Giovanni direct leave in and my hair was crunchy and I couldn't get rid of the parts. The smooth n hold pudding has the softest hold to me. You should try it. I'm actually going to do some coils next week with it to see how it looks with them being bigger. If you try it, let me know how it goes.

  • One of these days I am gonna take the time to actually part my hair when I am doing my finger coils. Yours looked really nice and uniform!

  • @MissLeeLee37 Girl don't do it! LOL! Parting takes up so much time. I'm not parting anymore and I'm gonna do bigger coils and see what happens the next time. THANKS!

  • @Toliahli, Thank you! I actually did wear them for a few days. That wasn't my original plan but it worked out ok. The next time I'm gonna do them bigger to what the results will be. Thanks for watching:o)

  • you did a great job on this, because you could actuall wear those out as is!

when I do mine, I did them only to take em apart. Nothing as neat or small as yours. Thanks for sharing!

  • @Toliahli Thank you! I actually did wear them for a few days even though that was not my intention. The next time I do them I'm gonna make them bigger to see what results I'll get. Thanks for watching :o)

  • Nice, I will try this if I'm not being lazy... ;)

  • @NaturallyContagious Girrrrrl, whatever you do, make sure you've had some sleep and maybe a cup of coffee. LOL!!! This is one of those styles that should only be attempted early in the day.

  • @20pearlsNcurls O_o wow, thanks for the heads up I was going to try it tonight..Whelp I guess not ;)

  • @NaturallyContagious Yeah, you definitely want to be prepared to take a couple of hours. That's if you're going to do them small and if you want them to be very neat. When we get tired we'll start doing them big and I wouldn't want you to rush and end up washing it out b/c you're not please. You never know. Your skills might be better than mine. LOL!!!

  • Before I chopped my hair off the 2nd time... I was using this product. ORS is great on twist outs! For me it didn't dry hard and it keep my hair very moisturized. I have used it on dry twist outs and wet ones. This is a ggreat video!

  • @nwallace1908 Thank you! I agree, it does NOT dry hard and it keeps the moisture. I LOVE this stuff!

  • Uh...LOVE IT. Can't wait to get some length so I can have some fun too ! Great tutorial..i put it in my faves for later this year...and the vid quality was very clear !

  • @fijipearl Thank you! I have been working REALLY hard on my editing skills. LOL!!! I think I finally figured out how to save and upload without losing a lot of the quality. The video that I uploaded today is actually better than this one. Thanks for noticing :o)

  • Uh...LOVE IT. Can't wait to get some length so I can have some fun too !

  • @fijipearl Thanks! Your hair is going to grow before you know it :o)

  • h,mmmm i am yet to try my Smooth n Shine Pudding!! must do soon! your hair is so nice and thick!

  • @louloumatou Thank you! I hope you'll like it as much as I do. It's definitely a keeper.

  • This looks soooo good on you. I tried the coils when I had a twa but since I have three different textures, I had three different type of coils lol I didnt like it. That product gives you amazing shine!!! Very cute end result!!

  • @CityChicWedding Thanks! Girl, I have a few textures going on too. LOL! That's why I had to use a lot of product in certain areas. I also had to "twirl" more on those areas too.

  • Wow, it didn't work for me when I tried defining my curls. I had to end up adding back my IC fantasia. I may revisit it again, but it was good and staying moisturized. Great review!

  • @Iamsonotmyhair Thanks! I'm gonna keep my gel close by, just in case if it doesn't work for me. I'm also gonna make sure that I don't cheat and use larger sections. It never works out for me when I do that. LOL!!!

  • Nice tutotorial. I love the end results. I think I'll try the smooth and hold pudding next time. Thanks for sharing!!!

  • @MsRosieVelt Thank you!

  • @20pearlsNcurls I used the ORS on my daughter's hair, check out my new video! Thanks again for the product suggestion.

  • @MsRosieVelt I looked for the vid but I didn't see it. I also thought I was subbed to you. Doing it right now.

  • @20pearlsNcurlsa I'll try to attach the video as a response

  • awesome look and technique. You have been very helpful in my journey to go natural. Thank u sooooo much:-)...Many blessings...

  • @msbeautifulll68 Thanks Sis! I'm so glad that I was able to help. If there is anything more that I can do to help you please ask. Thanks for watching and commenting :o)

  • Gorgeous hair, I don't have a lot of money to spend on products. I will try the pudding to.

  • @brokennotfixed Thanks! Remember, if you purchase it from Sally's you can return it if you don't like it. Let me know how it turns out for you.

  • Very nicely done. I did this style once. My hair was too short and I could see too many parts in my hair. so I may try it again now that my hair is long. I just need to take my time like you did.

  • @naturalhairful Thanks! When I did it the first time I had a lot of spacing too but I was ok with it because I wasn't planning to do a coil out. You will definitely need time. LOL!!! My problem was that I waited until late in the evening to start. This is a morning style for sure. LOL!!!

  • I got a free sample of conditioner that I liked. That's as far as I have gotten. Too expensive. Especially when I already have products I'm happy with that are a fraction of the cost.

  • This was my favorite hairstyle I wore for a few years BUT I only tried doing it myself 1x. I think the reason it didn't come out to my liking was b/c I used a rat-tail comb for each coil. You did a great job. I used to use the Lock-n-Twist gel by Sulfur-8. I never fluffed mine out. It lasted 3 wks and still looked very nice. I have the ORS pudding and it doesn't do well for holding my hair. The ORS Loc-n-Twist gel is one of my favorite products. It doesn't get hard. Miss Jessies.....

  • @LuBellaCoils Thank you! I'm not that crafty to use the comb. LOL! I have the ORS lock-n-twist gel too but I haven't tried it yet. I'm glad to know that it doesn't get hard. I don't even want a free sample of Miss Jessies because I KNOW my cheap behind will never pay that kinda money for a full size. I'm sticking with the under $10 products. LOL!!! Thanks for watching :o)

  • Natural hair is something else..it's so versatile! I'm definitely going to try this, I'm still learning a lot and I appreciate you inspiring me with these styles!

  • @micheleartiste YES! It is VERY versatile. Wish I had realized it a long time ago. I'm glad that I can be of help to you :o)

  • great vid, it looks great!

  • @Godzdesign1 Thank you!

  • Looks great !!!!!

  • @naturallyme70 Thanks!

  • Really looks great on you! This is a good teaching video...think I might try to do this in the next few months.

  • @brothelsaint Thank you! If you need some help when you try it just let me know.
