The bands evolve and it's a pretty innocent to expect them to be always the same, in fact if they do, that would mea that they are not so good musicians. Even more, Satyr is a human and human grow and evolve, nobody thinks the same when are in 30's as they did when they when wer in 20's.

Given that, I would like to say that each music that Satyr does is great. Maybe the new one is not so BM as this one, but it is still great..really great. So, I am fan of each Satyr....

funny about Satyricon being True Black Metal, i do enjoy many of their songs and most of their albums, but they were one of the FIRST Black Metal bands to sign to a major record label, rather than Underground lol

@frogboi666 i would say it's still Black Metal, but progressive, kind of like Ihsahn. Metal genres always progress in one way or another, whether we like it or not, and im a Black Metal purist.
