I've seen this entire generation, and it's not a cheap copy of Wild Force like many people say. The only common thing between Jungle Fury and Wild Force, is that the zords are animals, nothing else. The sypnosis is completely different from Wild Force's. Those who have seen Jungle Fury complete, like me, know that this series is very different from Wild Force.

i know it's gonna spoil me but there was an episode where the human side took control for 1 episode and when he transformed he was in some golden white armor form instead of the usual black ranger suit when he fought Dai-shi's generals to save Camille. how did he get that form? is it only possible when the human takes control? or does Dai-shi have access to it too?
i always knew The Black Lion Ranger would team up with rangers. @ 66dragonite no not Dai-shi, i'm sure it's the human that Dai-shi is possessing the one that joins the rangers. maybe they were finally able to seperate. you and i have to see all the episodes to fully understand what's going on. i've just seen it a few times on Tv especially when waiting for my dentist to be ready lol. catchy tune and using animals like the previous rangers. @sicknickmondo16 the storyline isn't more mature. In main story, perhaps, but it is counterbalanced by the EXTREME levels of goofiness between main plot points. It treats its audience as not rock stupid and anything you've seen from Sentai is a fansub who edit in cursing and stuff to make it sound more mature. PR goes the alternate route and meeting both fronts in the middle. While Sentai is TYPICALLY better, I'd happily watch In Space over Megaranger, Lost Galaxy over Gingaman, RPM over Go-On

I seen the entire season and even though I just sat there watching it for 16 hours I'm pretty sure the actor who played jarrod still had Dai Shi as one of his characters in the final episode

Jungle Fury isn't so cut and dry like all of the seasons before it. Jarrod/Dai Shi had great character development for a PR show. He had to train and get stronger just like the Rangers. The romance for once was between villains and not really between the Rangers.
And the romance that the Rangers DID have was only between Theo and Lily, and Dominic and Fran. You have the Violet Wolf Ranger, which is badass. The acting is nearly top notch for PR. How could it be the worst?
I'm aware of Gekiranger, personally, I couldn't see much difference. Except I believe the English actors are better actors. Also, you said JF was the worst PR of all time. What you said doesn't relate to Gekiranger, since Gekiranger isn't PR. And even if Gekiranger is better, which I dont believe it is, it's STILL not the worst PR season because of THAT. That's not even a sound argument.

@asianmami49 Sentai's storyline structure was always more complex and grittier than PR's more watered-down kids-format. So in that respect, Gekiranger is better than JF in their ability to tell the story. But acting-wise is where it's the reverse. Sentai's style is very much over-the-top melodrama, acting is often being all cheeky and giggly, but with JF, the acting was more grounded, more realistic, characters seem more real, not just acting like a few hyperactive kids on a sugar-trip.
@asianmami49 You can have plenty of fun when characters just act like normal people who can be serious and joke around, you don't have to have everyone act so over the top or so melodramatic about everything and then have them being all hyper and running around, such behaviors hardly sound like people you would entrust to protect the world. But that just happens to be a signature style of Sentai acting in general. I just find it hard to take seriously and prefer PR and JF's acting.
@asianmami49 PR storylines are often very watered-down and simple because they dumb it down to a kiddie-format. When you are watching it as a kid, you don't really care about all that, of course, you start seeing the silliness of it once you get older. But I do think PR's better acting saves the story most of the time. Sentai's storylines are awesome but bad acting often takes away from a good story. Now if only they can somehow combine Sentai's storylines with PR's acting, then it'd be perfect!
@asianmami49 Samurai's acting is not the best, the actors for the most part seem more like reciting memorized lines than actually being the characters, to compare them to JF's acting cast and chemistry, Samurai is way way behind. But it's decent enough, at least in the storyline corner.
@BetaArtemis I like Shinkenger better, because the storyline is pretty good, and I like the leader's attitude, he seems like a real leader. Jayden from Samurai won't be as awesome as the leader in Shinkenger. By the way, your sounding like an expert.
@asianmami49 Not really an expert, I just read a lot and know the trends with PR and Sentai, and as for Jayden, I think good acting can elevate a character just as bad acting can ruin a good one. For example, RJ from Jungle Fury could have been a Jack-Sparrow caricature but David de Lautour was an experienced actor who brought life to the character and made him well-rounded and real. The actor playing Jayden shows his inexperience in his craft and that makes the character look weak and stilted.
@JudgeEden I find JF's focus on character development to be the most refreshing aspect of the show which few PR series had been able to do. The acting I cannot praise it well enough, the cast was clearly more experienced. JF's stand-out for me is definitely RJ. David de Lautour's performance, especially when RJ was captured and forced to fight, was amazing. It has been years since I had seen a scene like the fight between Dai-Shi and RJ, I thought it seemed more like real drama than kiddie show.
@JudgeEden I still find it amazing that RJ was just simply a ranger who didn't need a power-up to make him a badass who could kick butt. He got this far on his own talent and skill without any special weapons. And as a mentor, he was steady, strong, loyal, and protective, all the more willing to lay his life down for his students. He may be eccentric and quirky and sometimes strange but it's all the more endearing qualities of him. RJ has definitely now taken the position as my fave ranger.
Dai Shi is THE most unique villain of all the Seasons. He's also badass. Everything didn't focus on the Red Ranger, unlike every other season. I understand this may not be the best to some people, but it's definitely not the worst, not by a LONG shot.
Jungle Fury is kickass. If you want to see the worst PR season, look no farther than Samurai.
@JudgeEden I agree that JF is most certainly not the worst, it had its issues and some things could have been developed better, but for what it was able to do, I actually found it to be one of the more coherent/grounded-in-reality series that PR has had in recent years, especially with Disney being in charge of PR. I also found the acting in JF more realistic, possibly b/c of more experienced actors. And for once the characters were not just cardboard-cut-outs and I really appreciated that.

@knightofrock1908 man jungle fury was amazing because of the martial arts. and most of all, the bad guy was human untill the end where the evil spirit dai shi leaves jarrods body. since jarrod had controll minus his personality change, he had to train like the rangers did, and the love sinces were between the villians Jarrod and Camille. Jarrod made the season awesome. if anything watch some eps that involve Jarrod fighting
Totally. I was surprised you pointed out the fact Dai Shi has to gain strength and train just like the Rangers. Something a villain has never done in this series. Not only that, but the villain had character development. Such a great season.

In other cases, like Space, Lost Galaxy, RPM, and of course MMPR thru Turbo, they couldn't be any more different from their counterparts. As Linkara famously put it, using the same costumes and fight scenes doesn't mean you should rate a show on the merits of it's Japanese counterpart. If you're going to dislike a show, do so on its own merits, not by comparison.

@Druu65 actually Saban just created the American adaption he took it from a japaniese show called Super Sentai he just changed the storyline and took the fight scenes from super sentai and just called it power rangers it was never his own idea he just got the rights to make an American adaption of super sentai

Jungle Fury isn't so cut and dry like all of the seasons before it. Jarrod/Dai Shi had great character development for a PR show. He had to train and get stronger just like the Rangers. The romance for once was between villains and not really between the Rangers.
And the romance that the Rangers DID have was only between Theo and Lily, and Dominic and Fran. You have the Violet Wolf Ranger, which is badass. The acting is nearly top notch for PR. How could it be the worst?

I'm aware of Gekiranger, personally, I couldn't see much difference. Except I believe the English actors are better actors. Also, you said JF was the worst PR of all time. What you said doesn't relate to Gekiranger, since Gekiranger isn't PR. And even if Gekiranger is better, which I dont believe it is, it's STILL not the worst PR season because of THAT. That's not even a sound argument.

In Jungle Fury, the ending stank, it seemed simple. I mean come on, they fight the masters, blue and yellow become masters, the red didn't, he fights dai shi, the guy being possed by him is free, the female villian becomes good, red finally becomes a master, and they defeat Dai shi in nxt ep Not an "awesome" ending.

@asianmami49 Sentai's storyline structure was always more complex and grittier than PR's more watered-down kids-format. So in that respect, Gekiranger is better than JF in their ability to tell the story. But acting-wise is where it's the reverse. Sentai's style is very much over-the-top melodrama, acting is often being all cheeky and giggly, but with JF, the acting was more grounded, more realistic, characters seem more real, not just acting like a few hyperactive kids on a sugar-trip.

@asianmami49 You can have plenty of fun when characters just act like normal people who can be serious and joke around, you don't have to have everyone act so over the top or so melodramatic about everything and then have them being all hyper and running around, such behaviors hardly sound like people you would entrust to protect the world. But that just happens to be a signature style of Sentai acting in general. I just find it hard to take seriously and prefer PR and JF's acting.

@asianmami49 PR storylines are often very watered-down and simple because they dumb it down to a kiddie-format. When you are watching it as a kid, you don't really care about all that, of course, you start seeing the silliness of it once you get older. But I do think PR's better acting saves the story most of the time. Sentai's storylines are awesome but bad acting often takes away from a good story. Now if only they can somehow combine Sentai's storylines with PR's acting, then it'd be perfect!

@asianmami49 Not really an expert, I just read a lot and know the trends with PR and Sentai, and as for Jayden, I think good acting can elevate a character just as bad acting can ruin a good one. For example, RJ from Jungle Fury could have been a Jack-Sparrow caricature but David de Lautour was an experienced actor who brought life to the character and made him well-rounded and real. The actor playing Jayden shows his inexperience in his craft and that makes the character look weak and stilted.

@JudgeEden I find JF's focus on character development to be the most refreshing aspect of the show which few PR series had been able to do. The acting I cannot praise it well enough, the cast was clearly more experienced. JF's stand-out for me is definitely RJ. David de Lautour's performance, especially when RJ was captured and forced to fight, was amazing. It has been years since I had seen a scene like the fight between Dai-Shi and RJ, I thought it seemed more like real drama than kiddie show.

@JudgeEden I still find it amazing that RJ was just simply a ranger who didn't need a power-up to make him a badass who could kick butt. He got this far on his own talent and skill without any special weapons. And as a mentor, he was steady, strong, loyal, and protective, all the more willing to lay his life down for his students. He may be eccentric and quirky and sometimes strange but it's all the more endearing qualities of him. RJ has definitely now taken the position as my fave ranger.

Dai Shi is THE most unique villain of all the Seasons. He's also badass. Everything didn't focus on the Red Ranger, unlike every other season. I understand this may not be the best to some people, but it's definitely not the worst, not by a LONG shot.
Jungle Fury is kickass. If you want to see the worst PR season, look no farther than Samurai.

@JudgeEden I agree that JF is most certainly not the worst, it had its issues and some things could have been developed better, but for what it was able to do, I actually found it to be one of the more coherent/grounded-in-reality series that PR has had in recent years, especially with Disney being in charge of PR. I also found the acting in JF more realistic, possibly b/c of more experienced actors. And for once the characters were not just cardboard-cut-outs and I really appreciated that.

@knightofrock1908 man jungle fury was amazing because of the martial arts. and most of all, the bad guy was human untill the end where the evil spirit dai shi leaves jarrods body. since jarrod had controll minus his personality change, he had to train like the rangers did, and the love sinces were between the villians Jarrod and Camille. Jarrod made the season awesome. if anything watch some eps that involve Jarrod fighting
