The new audio additions are really good and fitting...I heard the 28 Days Later theme in Agroprom. Now that- that is a nice touch there, developers. The graphics upgrades are awesome, except for the motion-blur's lag. But EVERYTHING IS AWESOME. Now update it to have the Wish-granter like CoP Complete, because CoP never works at all. :D

@theblackpixieJTHM This is made for people who already played the game. We already saw the graphics, and know exactly where each of those scenes is. What this is showing off is how it looks on three monitors, how it seemlessly scales, and how it give even more of a true presense feel when you have three monitors angled like that.

@TSFP Either. The thing that makes the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games so awesome is the environment and "feel" you get from playing them. These mods certainly do not take away from the feeling of the game. They just make it a little more in tune with our heightened graphical needs. As technology get better our brains get accustomed to better graphics. So older stuff doesn't look as good when we look back. Either way you will get the full S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience.

@TSFP as far as i know, this mod just add to the gameplay but does nothing to the story, so playing this first would just differ in the visual style and some tweaks, like best AI best gun stats and more realistic things. but i dunno .

If I am to judge that via this video, I would assume this is actually a horrible way to play the game. As I have noticed stretching and a little bit of distortion, and no I am not talking about the "fish eye effect" as some people might attempt to say.

@CaptinTrips Personally I prefer a single high resolution display, which is why I bought a 30" 2560x1600 LCD but Eyefinity is pretty neat if you have the space for it. In person it really does look pretty good, depending on the game of course.

You're all idiots. Fish eye distortion only occurs when you are far back enough to be looking at all the monitors simultaneously. In order to play the game you would have to sit facing only one monitor as your eye balls turns and looks at the other two, your line of sight is directly in line with them. As a result, you do not see the fish eye effect. The monitors being at an angle give you the feeling of immersion ala a racing game arcade booth.

@PoopS0cok: You need a fully implemented thin/thick lens camera model for a real fish eye/barrel distortion effect. Today's games still use a simple pinhole camera model that does not allow fish eye/barrel distortion. That's why the peripheral vision of the two monitors at both sides looks so unnatural.

Yet another idiot who doesn't realise the monitors are supposed to be FLAT, not angled towards you. You seen the massive distortion on the side monitors? Put them flat, sit at the correct distance from the central screen, and the distortion goes away. That's how they're SUPPOSED to be used. You should be seeing NO distortion when you look at the side monitors. Apes.
