  • I have Windows 7, But it doesnt Work?? can you help me

  • how do i make windows 7 look like vista again? i dont mean the start menu or the new little tricks 7 can do now. those are fine. what i mean is the actually size of everything. I'm using a 22'' acer monitor. when i had vista everything was fine size wise. it was 32 bit btw. now with this win 7 64 bit everything's shurnk. sure the res is awesome. but who cares if its so small i cant even see it. Is there something i can run to adapt everything to fit right again?

  • Hey! How do I make the windows resize like the whole window. Now, it just resizes as a black square, and then the window appears there. It used to be normal, but now it has gone like that.

  • hey man do you know how to activate the resizing thing cause it doesnt work with my windows 7 and i bought a origanl copy of windows 7 so what the problem??

  • I believe the resizing is a function of the Aero interface -- does your graphics card support the Aero interface?

  • It's not part of the Aero Interface, Theirs a PC in the house which cannot run Aero, but can do the resizing function :)

  • OH thx for the reaction but i have already found how to turn it on and of:):)

  • @Mezen92 go to ease of access center. Go to make my mouse easier to use. Make sure in there that disable automatically arranging windows is unchecked.

  • All the promises of 7 are ONLY available in the Ultimate version for many more dollars otherwise it is XP with better graphics ONLY... well a little bit more....

  • Absolute Rubbish :) XP is nothing like 7

  • "P is nothing like 7 " that is why after users have started to find all the problems with it they will discover that 7 is the Absolute Rubbish

  • I doubt you have even tried Windows 7.

Move on, my god. Your OS is OLD.

Most people are Upgrading, and it shows in the Figures

  • Windows 7 has XP compatable mode, (in the higher end versions). It needs this for a lot of stuff. (Or they will not run at all). If users want to run XP apps then the can save £300.00 and stick with XP

  • Windows 7 runs the majority of Windows XP programs without fail.

And no, your wrong. Again. Home Premium (the cheapest version for retail) has Compatibility Features built in. And I should know, as I'm on Windows 7 ;)

You just don't have the confidence to upgrade.

Their are lots of benefits, but you'll never see them because you can't change. You just stick to your Old OS, Hardly Safe OS, Boring OS, and an OS which doesn't keep up with the standards of new Technology :) I'm not replying any more

  • I haven;t even had to use this although i have played with it. Even ten year old versions of office work without it.

  • Video is 78 seconds. Unimpressed. lol only joking. Very good video. Thanks :)

  • I thank you for this EXCELLENT feedback.

All I can say about 7 is related to a test with RC1 so what I am saying maybe rubbish, the newer relase may OK :)

  • I actually like w7 look and feel a lot more than XP, which is "knocking on a bit now", but in RC1 some good XP stuff failed for me. The new release may fix this, I hope so :)

  • I thank you for this EXCELLENT feedback.
