to be honest i dont get why people even need a tier list to decide which characters are broken, that knowledge just comes from experience and if you play video games for fun dont bother in looking up tier lists for this game. Personally i think tier lists in general give people the right to flame and troll other players who like to use characters like Kirby and Ike just because the characters can be considered cheap. Just my two cents about tiering especially concerning this game.
@UnwantedSpriter Neither Kirby nor Ike are anywhere near the top, really. The very reason I brought up the tiers in my description at all is to point out that most people don't actually follow them. That is, to most players, tiers don exits.
Hmm... that's odd, I thought DK would get a boost in usage from Returns. It certainly made me want to use him more.
And I wouldn't say Sonic is low tier, more like lower mid. I think the real big thing is THE absolute bottom tier character (Ganondorf) is in the top THREE.
@BigKlingy Now that you mentioned it, you're right. Donkey Kong Country Returns hasn't done a thing to increase DK usage. It could be that unlike Samus, a newcomer to DK will just get damage piled upon like crazy because he's huge and, unlike Bowser or Dedede, he lacks projectiles so he has to go up close.
As for Ganondorf, I know that he's one of the characters who can take advantage of lag the best. I don't see Ganondorf winning that often, however.
I dont know if its lag but it seems to me that you dont know what your doing.
