@1mata18 @poetryman103 I'm guessing the dubbing people messed it up; maybe the detail was first put in because the original dubbers didn't know what would be revealed later in the story (I also don't know if the Frieza saga had even been planned out yet) and made the detail up. Later on, the story clarified that it was closer to 20 years earlier that planet Vegeta was destroyed--but the dubbers had already changed the script. Then, the new dubbers followed their lead, not checking their facts.
