I just got back from the doctor, who was putting the contact in my eye roughly, and it took me awhile, because i have been wearing glasses sense i was 5, and im 13, so it made me cry when he told me i couldnt have them, but im going to get them, ive been hoping for cotnacts sense i was 8 now, and this video helped me ALOT.<3 Thank you.

2. Although it doesn't really matter, I usually do contacts before makeup because my eyes tear up when I put lenses in, which makes dark eye makeup run.

i have a problem , when i try to apply the contacts they don't come off my finger , they just get stuck to it (not literately ) and I've tried countless times to put them in but the don't stick to my eye and sometimes they flip round which makes it harder because i have to flip it back again and advice?

@supersizzel I have this issue too. I wear regular contacts for my vision, so I know how frustrating it is. When the contact is flipped, it will act like a suction cup and stick to your finger. I've found that getting the liquid off the lenses make them less likely to flip because the weight of the liquid will flip the lenses inside out. So try to not use as much saline solution as you may normally use. I hope this helps!

@OrfeasDourvas I don't really wear contact lenses, but it's never ok if your eye bleeds. Stop using the contacts altogether and go see an optician/doctor to see if you may have an infected or irritated eye.

after three years of begging my mom for contacts i finally got trhem. i tryed every mosstly every mrethod if getting my contacts in. i can get them out perfectly but getting them in i had a hard time. i kept going back to my eye docter every week trying. and i still am. i never tried looking away tho. i never tried looking away and putting the contact in the whites of my eye i think it will really help. thanks!:D

@DemiPr0ductions Hi, im not 100% sure what you mean but, with contacts, you will see normal no matter what the colour, as there is no colouring of lense in the centre , there is just a gap!

I've only used lenses once because I have a very large pupil (natural, not affected by alcohol or drugs) and it made my eyesight really strange. But something I decided was that I failed to take off the lens with my hands because I have pretty long nails, so I decided that I could use 2 q-tips, some water on them first, taking gently at the bottom of the lens and "squeezing "them in the same way without the risk of stabbing out my eyes with my fingernails.

my eye doc told me dat just b4 wearin n just after removing ur lenses u should thoroughly clean each side of ur lens 4 atleast 10 seconds.

i dint follow it hence i got a bacterial infection in my eye.

@dianarockstar1911 Well, you shouldn't use lenses just yet. In my comment earlier, I said I was going to use lenses for training sessions, NOT in general. I actually prefer glasses, they doesn't bring risks for your eyes to get infected. Your body continues growing until you're about 20 years old. You can start using lenses in general about the age 16 to 18 years old. I'm 13, and I'm only going to use them for trainings. If you don't believe me, talk with an optician - they know.

There are a lot of steps you missed which must be practiced with color contacts are well as normal. But overall great tutorial. Funny how you use tweezers to handle them, clean fingers will work just fine as well.

@Mk7xKingScoPez1 If you have one-a-day contact lenses for your vision, you just take them out of the package. They have already been soaked in contact solution. If you have colored contacts or contacts that you keep for more than a day, you HAVE to soak them in contact solution in a case. DO NOT skip this step, the contacts need to be cleaned before you put them in your eye.
