@falklands1989 HI!.. i use an 43 teeth sprocket... u maybe use something like 52 : / Better to change to an smaller one...less stress on the engine, more speed and less fuel used...BUT if u change it to an smaller one u also get less acceleration. but thats no problem with an KTM:P

I'm currently running a 14 on the front and a 48 on the back and it's topping out at 50 and revving really high, what size do you think I should go on the back? So I do at least 70 with out worrying about it going bang? Thanks tom

@falklands1989 Well think of a bicycle .. When u're in first gear, u use the large rear sprocket, and it is easy to pedal, but u dont get much speed; ) same with motor bikes ...

I think u may need a 42T or even 40T to do 70, but it's hard to know, maybe less too .. u just have to buy and try...; )

@tessaro1 I've just changed the rear sprocket... the bike got too short gears if u use bigger sprocket.. the bike use less fuel also cuz it dont have such high rpm all the time..

Better to have acceleration than top speed;) how many times you ride on a straight road a few miles without traffic? rare;)

+ The ktm hit top speed quicker than the aprilia does with the same speed..

@GeorgeReeson Well you can normally get them from a KTM dealer that specializes in KTM .. They cost about £ 1000 more than enduro version. but these are just basic supermotos. U can do it urself for the same price;)

If u gonna have it like mine u have to pay £ 3000 more than the enduro..

my husky did a bit over 140 on flats. that was a SM125 with wr exhaust and needle/jet-kit. to get as much as the WR or this EXC id had to port it and put on 38mm carb and ECU. no doubt this bike can do 140, only depends on the gearing.

KTM is a very good bike, but it is expensive.

But it all depends on what type of bike you like. racing, cross / Supermoto, scooter, etc.

Raceing: Aprillia rs or Yamaha YZF

Cross / Supermoto: KTM or Husqvarna

Scooter: honda or yamaha

02-->05 modellen har samme sylinder; )

Men kjøper du deg for eksempel FMF fatty pipe effekt anlegg så går den tilnærmet like bra som de nyere mod.

Det er ikke mye effekt mindre på de eldre mod. asså ; )
