If luffy was a navy or marine officer he will be on Admiral rank Reasons 1 you need to know one Haki to be vice-Admiral because haki is extremely tough and hard to get but luffy already have all 3 Haki's which is impossible for others to get even 2 haki's. 2 he defeated 2 warlords one being crocodile who we saw being extremely strong mihawk was afraid to fight him he fought Akainu almost equal remember luffy beat that same crocodile 2 years ago so now I believe luffy can fight admiral n not lose
@OKWU4U Wrong. 1. Most people hae access to 2 different types, Luffy has acess to 3. However, Luffy has not mastered them yet as seen in the manga. 2. Luffy has only defeated the weaker Warlords. Mihawk was not afraid of Luffy, it was the other way around. And LOL, Akianu wiped the floor with Luffy. He's Vice-Admiral level at most.

Smoker only went up one spot now that he is in the New World. He was a captain and after the Crocodile incident he was promoted to Commodore. Now that he is in the New World as a G5 he was promoted to Vice-Admiral.
Garp wouldn't have taken the spot of one of the admirals. He previously mentioned from the beginning that he didn't want to move up the latter, because he wanted to be continuously in the seas where the action is at.

And I'm almost sure that luffy did as much physical training as he did in haki. You don't get fast enough to avoid 3 shots at the speed of light by moving your neck just by having CoO haki. @edwinm1 Im pretty sure that was a mistranslation, as Caribou's bounty has been stated before to be only 210,000,000 Beri. I think its because in some areas of the world they refer to 100 million as a billion, instead of the proper 1000 million
@singethehedgehog Id assume that once you get up to the rank of captain, Promotions would be a lot harder to come by, so Smoker must have done some pretty epic shit to get promoted that much in 2 years. Of since its the new world you could also argue that due to the strong pirates around marines would be dropping like flies, so promotions would be easier to come by

@gargola18 No hody fighting luffy was just like luffy facing the admirals during the war. It's not that luffy wasn't strong, it's just that the admirals were far stronger. We all know hodi didn't get as strong as he was without the energy pills, but nevertheless he was that strong because of it. But luffy trained for 2 years and was superior to his strength. Which also tes me that luffy trained physically just as much as he trained with haki.

I feel like i got trolled with the ending and how Oda showcased a part of the New World i thought we would see Shanks but we saw Smoker and Kuina instead which isn't bad because i wanted to see Smoker but i want to see what Shanks is up to. I really wish Oda would stop teasing us with the New World and just end the Fishman Island arc right now since its basically over all we need is for Jimbei to join the Straw Hats and we're all good.
i doubt smoker and luffy will fight since their long rivals. most likely they going to fight punch each other a couple of times then something going to interrupt like it always does and they going to cut their fight short
I've heard everyone's doubts about it; "Jimbei will throw off the balance of power between the Monster Trio, Jimbei's bounty is higher than Luffy's, Jimbei isn't Straw Hat material", but I really don't care!

The marinesby themselves make up a world power and they have plenty more vice admirals than there are Yonkou as well as 3 admirals and a fleet admiral.

This chapter was really good for the longet time i wanted jinbei to join the crew so i think that the kraken along with jinbei is a really good combination especially come in handy with the sea kings in the grand line.
Smoker prob could couldve got admiral but prob probably took vice because of the same reason for garp refusing fleet admiral in the past.
Yea logia arent invincible! the high level logias just have the reflex going in to thier element if its a critical attack eg Crocodile

The greatest question in One Piece is..."What the hell is Buggy doing now". I'd love to see Buggy actually be a factor every once in awhile. He's a god damn clown...their always strong (and creepy).

@OKWU4U for a former Roger pirate, Buggy is weak ass pirate. Even after Roger's death he became a captain and he was still weak. He's in his 40s, he's in Shank's age and is still weak. He probably still haven't gotten any significantly stronger after the timeskip but you never know. Nothing is impossible. This is One Piece anyway xD

Doflamingo is a malicious psychopath, Kuma is now completely brainwashed, and Mihawk has NO loyalty to the government besides the freedom his Warlord position allows. The Warlords are a separate faction from the marines. People around the world don't want their government that brings them peace to be led by pirates, and even Akainu isn't dumb enough to do that.
Great chapter. I think "you-know-who" is either 1) Doflamingo coz he was seen recruiting rookies to work for him, like Bellamy, and owning a few businesses like the human auction, therefore having lots and lots of underlings working under him. OR 2) Sir Crocodile! if magellan trained the vice warden and hes strong enough then the vice warden could become the warden and magellan could be an admiral. he would be the strongest admiral.
Maybe Kizaru is alone as an Admiral, as far as we know, it's not required to be 3 admirals, because Sengoku seems like he was alone in Roger's era, and It's a Rank, so I don't think they would promote someone (not as strong as Kizaru, Aokiji or Akainu) just to have three.
Hey foreverworld try and make a video on tobi's true identity or what you think on the matter. I mean in the series they say he is madara uchiha, but there is just something about that story that dosent add up, for one his age, 2nd kisame called him like the 4th mizukage, which got me wondering that is he really the original madara uchiha? Then I started to think of past novels. And I thought of orchimauru's reanimation technique and how he had all those faces from previous people he has taken
If Coby is now an admiral then Luffy should be a yonkou soon because admirals are strong as a yonkou and Luffy is always 10 times stronger than Coby. After Luffy becomes pirate king then a year later Coby will be a fleet admiral that's how way stronger luffy is than Coby.
Luffy will handover Smokers ass to him then Smoker will stare at his ass for awhile before smoker will realize that luffy just beat his ass n handed it to him.

I hope the next arc involves Smoker in some aspect, even if it's not the final fight between him and Luffy, I'd like to see whether Luffy can match up to him now. I hate to say it, but I can't see Tashigi being much of a threat to Zoro. He's trained under the greatest swordsman in the world and can cut galleons in half, she'd have had to improve to a ridiculous extent to keep up with him. It sucks cause Hyouzou turned out to be a big disappointment as a swordsman, I wanna see Zoro go all out.

Of since its the new world you could also argue that due to the strong pirates around marines would be dropping like flies, so promotions would be easier to come by

When he said 4th son he meant that if the straw hats were a family then Franky would be the father, Robin would be the mother, Brook would be the Grandfather, Nami would be the daughter, and everyone else would be the boys. The order of the sons from eldest to youngest are as follows: Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, Luffy, Chopper.

@gargola18 No hody fighting luffy was just like luffy facing the admirals during the war. It's not that luffy wasn't strong, it's just that the admirals were far stronger. We all know hodi didn't get as strong as he was without the energy pills, but nevertheless he was that strong because of it. But luffy trained for 2 years and was superior to his strength. Which also tes me that luffy trained physically just as much as he trained with haki.

I feel like i got trolled with the ending and how Oda showcased a part of the New World i thought we would see Shanks but we saw Smoker and Kuina instead which isn't bad because i wanted to see Smoker but i want to see what Shanks is up to. I really wish Oda would stop teasing us with the New World and just end the Fishman Island arc right now since its basically over all we need is for Jimbei to join the Straw Hats and we're all good.

The marinesby themselves make up a world power and they have plenty more vice admirals than there are Yonkou as well as 3 admirals and a fleet admiral.

This chapter was really good for the longet time i wanted jinbei to join the crew so i think that the kraken along with jinbei is a really good combination especially come in handy with the sea kings in the grand line.
Smoker prob could couldve got admiral but prob probably took vice because of the same reason for garp refusing fleet admiral in the past.
Yea logia arent invincible! the high level logias just have the reflex going in to thier element if its a critical attack eg Crocodile

He probably still haven't gotten any significantly stronger after the timeskip but you never know. Nothing is impossible. This is One Piece anyway xD

Doflamingo is a malicious psychopath, Kuma is now completely brainwashed, and Mihawk has NO loyalty to the government besides the freedom his Warlord position allows. I think "you-know-who" is either 1) Doflamingo coz he was seen recruiting rookies to work for him, like Bellamy, and owning a few businesses like the human auction, therefore having lots and lots of underlings working under him. Nearing the end of the fish man island arc: Only slightly threatening, more of an annoyance, as well as resident (mostly) harmless villain.
Awesome chapter. I was pleasantly surprised at how Smoker's now a Vice Admiral, though it now means he and Luffy have a much higher chance of clashing, somewhere at 80 percent now.

Maybe Kizaru is alone as an Admiral, as far as we know, it's not required to be 3 admirals, because Sengoku seems like he was alone in Roger's era, and It's a Rank, so I don't think they would promote someone (not as strong as Kizaru, Aokiji or Akainu) just to have three.

If Coby is now an admiral then Luffy should be a yonkou soon because admirals are strong as a yonkou and Luffy is always 10 times stronger than Coby. After Luffy becomes pirate king then a year later Coby will be a fleet admiral that's how way stronger luffy is than Coby.

@spartan007sh Tashigi wouldn't stand a chance against zoro. She was WAY weaker then he was back when they first met in lougetown. At this point tashigi better just drop her sword and suck zoro off as soon as he see's her :D

I hope the next arc involves Smoker in some aspect, even if it's not the final fight between him and Luffy, I'd like to see whether Luffy can match up to him now. I hate to say it, but I can't see Tashigi being much of a threat to Zoro. He's trained under the greatest swordsman in the world and can cut galleons in half, she'd have had to improve to a ridiculous extent to keep up with him. It sucks cause Hyouzou turned out to be a big disappointment as a swordsman, I wanna see Zoro go all out.

@2012jjoykutty03 That's the thing...Smoker is this generations Garp. He's similar to Garp's history with Roger with Luffy in more ways than one. Smoker will most likely become a friend of Luff'ys in the long run since he knows that the Straw Hats go around helping more so destroying. It just makes me think...where the hell does Coby fit in this story.

i liked and hated this chapter. i wanna see the new world soon. but i liked it still. i liked the confrontation between caribou and pekoms. and it was nice to see where tashigi and smoker are now. it ws kind of a view of what the new world might be like.
