Yes, they are calledo SFO (Special Firearms Officers). Usually when there is a bomb Military are called out they got the equipment, but police (SFO only) can work along side SAS and Military!

I'm sorry. I must be mistaken. Did you read the title? It said evidence. There is no evidence to show if the police got it wrong or not, chances are they didn't. They were collecting evidence that maybe prooves the presence of a bomb-factory such as pins and shells.

this is ridiculous. i understand the police acted as they were ordered to but it turns out they didnt have any evidence to press charges. all 12 were released and most (who are university students) are being deported. how is this justice? they are innocent if they cannot be even charged! and not owning up to the mistake is even worse. this sort of behaviour by the government only further alienates the muslim community. there's precaution and there's taking liberties and abusing rights.
