This is by far one of the sorriest renditions I've ever heard. Sounds good until he misses a note at around :25, then he just loses the concept of "viewing" a scene in Paris, not creating one. He is generally to forceful and needs to allow for a more natural rubato, not to mention give some breathing time between those deep E flats and the succeeding chords near the end, there should exist a feeling of dozing off here that simply doesn't exist. I'd recommend you listen to Vladamir Horowitz' vers
It's impossible for me to play this on my piano. It's so old and decrepit. Any use of pedal ensures anything my left hand plays, no matter how softly, will always drown out the melody. Not to mention it can't hold a tuning. xD
good coordination between left and right. Le spreludes of Chopin are supposed to display a whole range of emotions and moods in a very concise form. Masterly composition by the Polish maestro
Well, not quite. It's relatively hard to generalize the "fastest" - could be the fourth movement of Sonata No. 2, any of the Ballades, the Prelude No. 8... etc.
But I agree, the 16th is one of Chopin's best compositions.
Oui, évidemment, une très belle interprétation sensible et engangée. Chapeau! Merci, cher ami, de nous offrir pour ainsi dire "une présentation privée" de votre talent.
Wow, as soon as I heard this song I knoew that I had to learn it. It's very difficult for me though because I only had like two to three years of lessons. Still, I am like 1/5th of the way done! Great job, keep up the awesome work!
Nice and all but not by my opinion the best, and certainly not by any means the mose " powerful and impressive ones" Have you heard the 15th, or 24th?
For you, maybe the 15th and 24th are the most poweful, but everyone gets different feelings listening to music, so many songs cause different feelings inside of everyone ^^'
Sorry if that offended you, just wanted to say : (

out of pollini's, Ivo's, arrau, this one is IMO the least affected and overwrought.
I will aspire to it. Back to the score.... thank you.

my favorite is the 16th of course, it's the fastest work of chopin isn't it?
