I don't see how you could say that's the hardest way to find him with the absurd amount of healing items you had to use. I'd be more impressed if you used a better weapon and no healing items.

And what better weapon is there to use? And having to heal doesn't make a world of difference.

In your case it makes a world of difference as you were basically invincible and didn't have to worry much about dodging attacks. It just a really long battle due to low damage output as opposed to a challenging battle. Using a shorter range sword and no healing would make for a cooler fight.

The is one easy way to beat this boss - you just use black pantera soul (in the room after dracula) - and you just run - it takes some time but it's still the easiest way :)

I dunno if many would ever find that easy considering his range. Either way I personally fight him with the Claimh Solais because I love to make this fight epic like that.

Holy Damage actually, but it's the right basic idea, Richter was strong against it during his fight against Alucard which is useful to get the good ending of SOTN
