Hey Tinny, if you want to get even more heat out of the cool little stove, try this. Get another section of 8" stove pipe with end caps, cut your 2" pipe down to about 4" and mount the new 8" on top of that by cutting a hole in the bottom. Now take the rest of that 2" pipe and mount it on the of the new 8" section at the opposit end. This will make use of the heat that is going right out the stack. Hope I made that clear.
I have been looking for a small wood stove for my winter fishing camp, they all cost hundreds, and look a hell of a lot flimsier then that, you are the guru of camping Tinny. Good job.
I made one of my own, just after I made the comment. And it works great. I made some modifications myself. And plan to have a much longer ice fishing trip next winter.
Ford did some clever financial restructuring, but they haven't fixed their cars. They did however pay off the reviewers/testers and made a lot of commercials.
GM... they are hopeless. Not even Tim could help them.
Their only chance is that maybe all the rednecks in America stay loyal to their products.
@solobackpacking a knife a drill , some srew,a can , a pipe, and you have a stove ,,it will probably not look as good as tiny one but at least you got a cheap easy to make stove
That is a good call. Can you compare and contrast brake line dryer/ denatured alcohol/ dry gas/ other fuels? I am interested in your opinion on smut factor, heat output, cost, and anything else you can think of. Thanks.
PS. for a first prototype, that is one butt kicking stove!
Thats looking really good its hot!LOL!! I wonder how light you will be able to get this down to.I suppose it will always be a little on the bulky side?Really good work keep your creativity up please.
Have you heard of a "Jet stove"?
Maximise your fuel usage and keep warmer longer.

agreed... they put a outrageous price tag on those wood stoves. probably like a 500% mark up.
those pieces of junk are even designed well.

I dont have the work space to construct such things...
I'll be more then happy to just buy one already made given that its professionally made (not DIY) and reasonably priced.
I like Minibulldesigns because he actually tests his products. They should fire the CEO of Ford and let Tim give it a try.

Is that Ford like the motor Co? Seems they are the only ones keeping their head above water. Maybe Tim could run GM where they need a bit more help.

The Unions may walk out very soon.
They are in talks now.
