My biggest fear after this election is over is that no matter who wins, the two predominant races in this Country are going to turn on each other in mass and America will have another Civil War. A really scary thought.

As a conservative Republican, I am happy that this man was caught. No person should be allowed to threaten bodily harm on anyone. Obama, though I disagree with his politics to no end, is a Presidential candidate, a person, a father and a citizen of the U.S. This apparent skinhead looks and acted as if he had the will and means to try to do as he threatened. Thank goodness for the Secret Service and their devotion despite political lines.

If President Bush is serious about the "War on Terror", I propose he sign a bill that would require anyone found guilty of committing a hate crime be registered as a "Domestic terrorist" and that they be added to the terror watch list.
This would send a strong message to violent, intolerant racists and bigots that American citizens have the right to live in peace and will be protected against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
