Miranda had three totally different and exceptional roles in 1992- this one in "Damage", a lead role in "Enchanted April" and as Jude in "The Crying Game." Either supporting role could have won her the Oscar in any other year.
Boy, that line she says "What a pity we ever met." So much was said in that line about their whole relationship, their life together, their son who is no more. Even when she drops her night slip. "This was not enough?" She wasn't talking about just her body, but her whole soul, her life given to him. She was asking herself that question too? And answering it. What a movie. What a role for Richardson.
I plan on putting the whole movie up-free of subtitles, lol. And yes she was incredbible-makes me so pissed she lost the Academy Award to Marisa Tomei-for a comedy?!

she was nominated but marisa tomei won the oscar for suportin actres i think miranda deserve she was much beter.
