  • These structures would be great in hurricane areas...you would never have to worry.

  • Beautiful music too.

  • I have some land in Northern AZ, its great in the summer.

But I would love to get some land in the South also, to live in the winter.

You all did a great job on your place!

  • i hope you receive this...i am searching for a cheap place to buy the bags in Morocco. anyone have any ideas? My husband is from there and while I live in Tucson now, I'm going back soon to Morocco and we hope to build an eco dome house on my husban's father's farm. We dont have a lot of money, but my husband is an electrician and plumber with building experience. We just need to lcate a bag supplier closer to home in Morocco. Help please?

I have heard you can use onion-bag woven plastic material. It's at least 10 times cheaper. I have not tried it but plan to on my next dome. For further communication please go to the Sacred Garden Sanctuary website

  • so how's your dreaming coming together?? i think many of us share your dream!!

  • this looks incredible, I live out at Joshua tree, and wondering how much something like this costs to build? thanks natasha.

  • @Tashcarpediem007 Cost varies with size and if you are doing your own labor the cost is low. It cost us about $1000 in materials do build an 11ft dome, smaller than in the video. The ecodome, 400sq. ft. probably would cost about $5000 in materials. That excludes plumbing and light fixtures, kitchen/bathroom cabinets, etc. We have decided to put rock and mortar over the entire structure, which is more work but provides a more lasting and waterproof exterior.

  • @Tashcarpediem007 lol, i was just looking at some land near Joshua tree for building an earth-bag eco-community! i'd love to see/help if you get a project started.
