ye Bladestorm maybe made you loss DPS BUT dont forget it makes you immune (to all but damage) and it attacks all enemy's around you ^_^ beside no one will stand and take the damage from slam will they?

To the guy below, Fury is much much better than Arms atm. As Fury I can generally do 3.5k+ but as arms I drop down to 2.7k+.

Arms is also way too much RNG to even be fun.

Seriously, with the Taste of Blood talent in arms + improved overpower, (+ the 1 sec CD on overpower) it is damn worth being in battle stance the whole time, and now they improved rend. My lvl 65 warr's rend does like 240 per 3rd sec

you have great str/ap...but what's your crit%? i'm axes and i crit like crazy. You will be above 2k with axes easily w/ your gear. Even a s2 axe. try it out. Props for figuring out slam rotation w/ new spec. I have 1/2 in slam to help me in rotation. To me..atleast w/ my crit rate..2/2 slam was too congestive.

People in arena have armor and resilience.

The target dummies have like 0 armor and 0 resilience, that's why you haven't seen those crits in arena.

The new mechanics make slam ''Pause'' the swing timer, instead of resetting it.

As Arms, you're losing 3% crit and whirlwind. In replacement you get rend/overpower. Depending on how you want to play, it may or may not be worth it.

Go Arms. I keep telling people Arms is > Fury for DPS in 3.0 (and quite possibly at 80) but no one wants to believe me. I was also hitting these numbers on the PTR with my Warrior.

When i read that slam no-longer resets the swingtimer AND got moved to the Arms tree I got a warm fuzzy feeling. Lets all go piss on the grave of old Slam together and rejoice!!! The puppet has 0 armor. A retri with viable euipment would crit for about 10k withhin seconds. The burst of retri palas is definetly higher and easy to control. By counting in that holy damage ignores armor, palas do not need to wait for building up mana and can heal/dispell themselfs, they are far more dangerous in pvp than warriors. A balance between pve and pvp dps is needed.

And Mr. smarty pants "godoflos" if u pay attention to the video u will notice the only times white hits appear is when he doesnt use slam because he uses overpower or execute or some other ability thus allowing his white hits to actually land instead of pausing them forever. IN CONCLUSION: NEXT TIME U TRY AND CORECT ME GO STUDY SOME GAME MECHANICS FIRST AND L2P .... End of story u both suck....

yes it no longer resets the swing time, it pauses it, I am aware of that !!BUT!! that doesnt mean that u can spam slam to dps as he does in the video, because even though it pauses the swing time now if u spam it you wont land any white hits.

Actually it would seem you dont since slam no longer resets the swing timer so as long as you have rage to keep up rotations ect spamming slam instead of heroic strike is great.
