I am currently using voxcorp and find it great in terms of the service they are provding and economy in using it especially in making international calls to
i used to have vonage, but a friend referred me to ooma. I try a floor model at best buy and liked it and decided to buy it from amazon as it was cheaper. with ooma i had to pay $220 for the box, but no monthly charges for life exept $12 govt tax/ year. this ooma box paid for itself in one year. another thing to note is that the call quality was a little better than vonage, but progressively got better. and i used to think vonage rocks! ooma does!
yes, that's one of the great things about vonage. depends, i don't know what you signed up for. cost would be the same. by the way, i hate the goonhawks!
@griffgriff100 This was done 2 years ago. Customer support from the Philippines told me I needed 2 boxes. No, at the time I was not aware I didn't need two separate boxes. So, in order to have two separate lines I needed two separate numbers. One for upstairs and one for down. This assembly was under my desk and not noticeable. This used to be a four plex apt. We remodeled it by taking out the dividing wall and made it into two separate residences. People up were not with people downstairs.
I agree........but notice, I did it all under a desk and the other phones were out in the living room. I was the only one who new how bad it looked. I no longer use Vonage. They play to many games, I went to the magic jack and it works every bit as well as Vonage did.
hey I love vonage and it has saved me so much money. I prepaid with them and having no problems at all. I notice when i sit the box to my DSL router it interfers with the box, but I figured it out by moving it away, I am using the phone line filters that my phone company sent me to filter out the noise from the data I have one filter coming out of the vonage box and the other out of my phone, phone line between the two. excellent quality now and again 5 thumbs up and 10 stars.
You are so right! But, I didn't aspect it to take on the first try. Then it dawned on me and it was too late. It's a lot simpler than it looks! Good looking out xiardark!

You do know that you can get 2 lines with just one of those boxes, you don't have to have two sepparate boxes.
And also, why do you need 2 different lines for both stories of your house?
