  • Once again, while CSX may not have the greatest long-term saftey record...as of late, they have been throwing quite a bit of money at infastructure as well as locomotives and rolling stock.

  • bouncy track, CSX sucks at maintaing things, I miss Conrail

  • I hate to burst your bubble, but CSX just replaced the rail on track 3 at this location about 3 months ago.

  • Track 2, however, could use new ties and ballast.

  • The only reason the train had lateral motion when it was under the signal bridges, was because the train was going through the interlocking at CP 431.

  • Maybe, maybe not. lol I am up there quite alot, and sometimes I sit at the east end of the platform as well. However, I know this just because I know the nature of the track and the location of crossovers in this area.

  • east end is nice becuase your farther away from people and noise and stuff and when the 48 pulls in the locomotives stop right there
