  • Im NAMIBIAN and all over the world settlers went and started new lifes in other parts of the world its not only Africa that has been settled in so black africans dont think you were the only people who s land were taken we've been independent since 1990 and you have your goverments since then so are we still to blame ??

  • Ek kan gaan en in Namibië woon later in die lewe

  • Ek kan gaan en in Namibië woon later in die lewe

  • Nice Anthem.

    I like the sound.

  • To those who have been grossly misinformed, Namibia only has one official language and that is English. German and Africaans are not official languages. Although they are widely spoken within the country (more so Africaans than German). In most areas, Africaans is more understood than English. With over 50% of the countries population belonging to the Ovambo Tribe, Oshivambo by sheer numerical advantage is the most spoken language in Namibia although many Namibians are themselves multilingual.

  • @99BA AFRIKAANS

  • I love the sound of my National Horns and Trumpets its jst so unforgetable!!!!!!

    I love it

  • what language is this sung in.

  • @tomoutlane english

  • Oshiwambo also

  • the lyrics in german , the second official language of the country Namibia, Land der Mutigen Der Freiheitskampf ist gewonnen, Ehre ihrem Mut, Deren Blut floss für unsere Freiheit. Wir geben unsere Liebe und Treue In Einigkeit gemeinsam, Kontrastreiches schönes Namibia, Namibia unser Land. Geliebtes Land der Savannen, Haltet das Banner der Freiheit hoch. Refrain: Namibia unser Land, Namibia, Vaterland, Wir lieben Dich.
  • @uudrakgvens94 haha you are really sic, german isn't an official language but one of the spoken foreign languages!!

  • @african125 what's wrong with german language? And what about the boers?

  • @Antralian Afrikaans is another European language spoken in Namibia, not official, right now, English is official, period...no other funny colonial languages!

  • @african125 you're right about german, is funny that a language that was spoken in Namibia 100 years ago is considered "national language"...but Afrikaans is considered a "african" language because the boers, that originally speaks dutch, in some centuries have changed their language with some african indigenous and indian word.

  • @Antralian The natural truth which people find the tendency to deviate from is that Afrikaans isn't African, its typically European of Dutch origin, spoken by the Dutch in Southern Africa who for some reason find it hard to identify themselves with their real self (Dutch). The language has been imposed on Africans during apartheid and the people were forced to say that it was their mother language,so i don't understand the fuss with the dutch in Southern Africa, really!

  • @african125 because in Netherland they don't want the boers, simply. Northern european tends to be very racist also against other whites (i'm Italian, you can't image how much racism exists against us in North Europe).

  • @Antralian I think you are right but that makes me wonder why Boers hate Africans if they live in our land, those people have attitude, one that stinks,i have encountered racism in Europe but i understand becoz i am African, perhaps it was wrong for me to be in their land.however, i find it more embarrassing when i realize that boers hate us more than we are hated in Europe, and they do that here home, where do they want us to go?

  • @african125 really boers hate you africans? I met in last years many mixed couple (for example, boer male-zulu woman) from South Africa...i don't know the situation in Namibia, by the way....in my opinion, all people (black, white, brown, red or asian) are exactly the same. The skin color means nothing, we are all humans.

  • @kanunimukungu english and german are the official languages , afrikaans has status of national language and is the most speaked and understood, german is second most speaked and understood language , and some speak oshiwambo , language of the most of the white population is german

  • @uudrakgvens94

Wiki says only english is the official language, though.

  • the germans murdered the hereros....Namibia, Maputo, Zimbabwe, Botswana n the others r all part of The Peoples Republic of South Africa...give me 20 years n m y dream shall see dawn

  • Yeah im namibian an i speak oshiwambo an u

  • Well i am hungarian, but i feel Namibia is my second home.

    I love NAMIBIA!

    Ongaipi?

  • nice Anthem :'( I´am german but for me, Germany is a part of Namibia and Namibia is a part of Germany

Brothers and sisters always hold together!

Brüder und Schwestern halten stets zusammen!

    =)

  • @Schoeppingen If it was the case, Namibians would be required to acquire visas to go to German,we are not part of Germany and we are happy that way...

  • Their blood waters our freedom....Namibia is the land of the brave.. God save my country...

  • I Love My Home Country

  • I am superly excited to visit
