  • What a patronising, ignorant woman. Does she think that the Indians just discovered clay and how to make pots. How annoying. F**k, she pissed off.

  • In England, we have the glaze...wtf...it's glaze everywhere...stupid cow!

  • This video would have been great, except for the know it all commentator from England.Who cares about your glaze. This is called a glaze yea,BLA BLA BLA you wanker.

  • Hi.......nice too see,thank you!!

    It's me hobby!!

    Greetings Paula.....Netherland.

  • Very interesting video. So glad you had time on your tape to see through to removing the pot.

  • Hay Tim, I posted this in Fotki and plan to make a post to ClayArt, WoodKiln, and ClayCraft, Pottery forums to which I belong. So you might see a bunch of visits as I get quite a few after a post. Thanks, keep traveling, and stay in there!

  • The clay is very soft and plastic, which allows the potter to center and shape it with minimal force. The wheel diameter is large to give it more inertia, allowing it to spin longer. The pots made this way are relatively crude in the sense that they are (1) not very thin, (2) not precisely round, and (3) limited in size. The results are ideal for simple, everyday functional ware.

  • I've seen stills of a stick wheel but this is the first of one in action, thanks! The English womans lilting voice is priceless. I'll add it to my Fotki.com videos if I may.
