3 months without a new station. Man..ya'll killing me. ENergy dance was my favorite. The country's got enough of these Rev type stations. DOn't get me wrong..i like hip hop.sometimes, .not the new commercial shit which is all about marketing though. At least when Energy 92.7 in arizona went bust, they had the decency to make their new format mostly old school and not this commercial non funky trap/crunk crap they play on The Rev. It's garbage, people.

I want energy back. I fucking hate this new format. I mean don't get me wrong I like all kinds of music and they play stuff I like, but every other station on the air plays the same thing, so why take away the only dance station we have in the bay area. Dance is still my favorite genre, it gets me moving and energized. I don't even tune in to "REV" any more because it pisses me off everytime. I hope they fail and energy will come back. May the previous onwer will come back, wishful thinking.

Totally sucks that they are off the air, I thought I had it on the wrong station at first.. Im a student at Cal State Hayward and I always listen to fernando and greg on my drive to school from Alameda. They were truly the highlight of my day. And not to metion all the cool dance music they play and the events, concerts and parties they had for the community. This new format sucks, and there are lots of those formats already. And like everyone here I felt so connected with everyone on thestation

i've been listening to 927 for five years! they were seriously like my friends. i've called in multiple times and actually talked with greg and fernando! i miss them! :( 927 made me fall in love with dance music. i am still mourning over this DEATH. it is awful. the best radio station in the bay is gone! but hopefully it will come back soon. i have a feeling it will.

To the new owners of the rev when your ratings turn out to be the worst maybe then you will realize what a bad choice you made in changing a winning format that had a huge following to the lame format it is now.I will never listen to your station again. I'm just making it through my first week of silence since Energy 92.7 was yanked from our lives. I miss Fernando, Greg and Jason EVERY day. It was more than radio, they were like my friends. They made me laugh out loud, for real. I'll be waiting to find out where they land, and that's the station I'll be turning in to.

Thank you for posting. It was much more than a radio station. It really was like having the best club music with the COOLEST DJ's wherever and whenever you wanted to tune in. There was a sense of community and belonging than can't be placed into words. And I listened in far away Salt Lake. Farewell dear friend, Energy 92.7.
