  • this album is free on their website :D

  • Uno de los mejores sonidos industriales, NIN no tiene comparaciòn.

  • "t-t-t-tolerate you"

    Love it :)

  • Did you hear? Nine Inch Nails is finally back! They (he) just released a cover of U2's Zoo Station, and it is pretty damn awesome!

  • This one of the best songs on a very underrated album.

  • Trent always finds new ways to reinvent the NIN sound. fucking genius.

  • Yeah hes right I hope the new fans dnt take trents mgs and lyrics in wrong context , and to turn it. Emo

  • Its just trent reznor for the most part only when he goes on tour is when he needs help- but he does have close friends that help him in the studio sometimes, check out his private sessions u will see what I mean, its pretty epic . Cuz he always has a small crowd sitting indian style on the carpet in his studio watching them perform- I would give anything to be there:

  • I'm a new fan of NIN, and I honestly don't understand why everyone keeps saying that "new" NIN sucks. I've listened to their old and new songs, and they are all good. You guys don't deserve to listen to NIN.

  • this is modern NIN. It is horrendous. If you think Reznor is/was a good artist, cop the fuck on you shower of pre-pubescent idiots. Pretty Hate Machine is really good and ahead of its time. Downward Spiral is a record that will last forever. And yer talking about absolute rubbish. I'm 31 so I hope experience is a factor, but it'd be awful if new NIN fans were led/misdirected by this shit.. If you are, then you don't deserve to listen to NIN. Actual fans:Look in reverse

  • @eoinc100 calm down, little snob faggot. i'm 33 and know trent. so fucking what? feed your ego on YOUR OWN LIFE. get a life, go dive in the grand canyon, we know u r so special:)

  • @colorwheel777 My God, you're a tool.

  • @colorwheel777 PS, you're obviously some fat borderline-retard yank who wears black and eyeliner. Grow up you fat 33 year old prick and stop riding your mother

  • The Slip is Perfect! I put it up there with albums such as With Teeth and Fragile!

  • @TheSorrow696

Definitely.I like the direction he is going with his music.

  • But not as high as Downward Spiral, though.

  • This is one of the best NIN albums....short but good!! But no videos......or singles with B Sides (sad), back in the 90s they used to promote bands like NIN on major labels, thats unimaginable now!!

  • This is a fucking awesome song - everything will be criticized in the present - it is the future that matters -

  • why many peope hate this album nd year zero ? :(

  • Gotta love the YEAH YEAH YEAH part.

  • 3:06 - 5:00

    <3

  • I BUY everything my favorite musicians put out. I want them around and doing the music that keeps me going. I would want to be paid for my creations.

  • have any of you guys ever heard of "IV Ghosts 38"? listen to it...

  • I'll pay for this - just for this song.

  • When i heard this Track i realized what it was all about.

  • Trent is a god.

  • One night I woke up at 2 a.m. while listening to the NIN playlist on my iPod & this song was playing. It was at the "well I am reaching the point!" part, & all I could think was "damn I love his voice!" & finally when the "now iKnow, what this is all about!" part approached, I got chills all over my body. Needless to say, I had a spiritual experience that night :P

  • i was told by many that this album was amazing... "...and now I know... what this is all about...!"

  • This song makes me wanna get up and punch someone.

  • i love the cats!!!

  • I AM REACHING THE POINT!

  • Wow, I thought this album was not any good. I guess I was completely fucking wrong....

  • Free or not Trent Reznor still is the greatest artist of my time. I got the 213 just because I support what NiN does for music.

  • I like this-really good. The drum sound is interesting and different.

  • Trent remains amazing. NIN lives on and forever it shall, because of the demon seed inside us all.

  • I'm seriously tired of this fucking conspiracy theory boogieman bullshit. It doesn't help anybody, and just creates another sinkhole that people can throw their time into. You want to make the world a better place (and you should fucking be working towards that because we as a species are fucking terrible right now) be a doctor or an artist. Read, learn about the world around you and about yourself. And for fuck sakes use common sense.

  • Best tune off the album I reckon. That bit when he yells "I will use my voice, I will use my fist..." gets me every time.

  • Now I know

    What this is all about

    Now I know

    Exactly what I am

    These is a seed

    Inside of me

    That makes me

Trenz Reznor is a great lyricist

  • feels like im trying to eat the back of my brain

  • @iamaverylazysob What.

  • i just had sex with a man

  • Just gonna give one last slash at the NWO thing, I don't care about it.

We're all fucked anyway, "NWO" or not. If it does happen, I would love for all the "Wrong" people to come here an say something like "Oh shit, you're right!"

Then again I listen to opinions. But there are some things of interest; Skull & Bones and Bilderberg group being two that instantaneously come to mind.

Though these conspiracy theorists to teach us something; Question everything, and believe nothing.

  • WTF!? I can't hear the third paragraph at all!!!

  • @manutdj

uoy rof egassem esrever a sereh

omoh ouy oop gnikcuf ym tae

    kcid kcus

  • What you gonna do when the NWO runs wild on you brother?

  • Now I KNOW, Stephen HOW YOU PLANNED EVERYTHING! THANKS FOR THE EMAIL YOU SICK FUCK.

  • I'm with Zeno on this one. UN Charter,

section one clearly states that an act

    of aggression against any sovereign

nation, is, by definition, a 'war crime'

Now, having said that, the UN is the

public face of the NWO, and should be

abolished. But their right on this one.

Obama is 'by definition' a 'war criminal'

    Bushes, war criminals, Clinton war

criminal. All War Criminals, ALL Frauds

  • NWO - lawl. Thanks for the laugh.

  • Really? Go to Google News: There

are literally THOUSANDS OF NEWS ARTICLES!

    "An New Word Order Emerges"

    "A New Economic World Order"

    For fucks sake you fuck!

  • Oh jeez, using derogatory words now, are we? Get a grip. Conspiracy theories go no where especially when you're using a logical fallacy, ad populum.

  • So, what your telling me is that you didn't go to Google News as I instructed? Allow me to do this for you Search term: New World Order Results 1 10 of about 44,285 for new world order Obama says it, Bushes say it, Cluntons say it, Brown says it, Blair says it, Kissinger says it, They All say it! I suppose the world has been run by 'conspiracy theorists' for the last 70 years. Please, DON NOT REPLY, clearly you're not worth talking to
  • I did look it up and my statement still stands. The articles I read used the phrase in a different way that I have "NWO" laid out to be. Unless you can provide specific sources that lead your claim to be true and if you provide what by you translate "NWO" to be, then you're not worth talking to.

  • Yea, I laughed during this comment too.

  • Oh well have fun in the ovens : D I'll be up in the mountains! FUCK YEAH

  • Where is that, please?

Because first of all, the UN Charter is divided into Chapters and Articles, and chapter one covers the broad purpose of the organisation, not the definition of war crimes.

  • u suck ur liek 10 yers old

  • is this to do with the music?

  • And so are you.

Luckily I'm not the one with the crackpot theories.

  • Do you make this little sense offline as well?

I imagine you must be very lonely.

  • Obviously not the brown acid, unlike yourself.

They warned about that you know.

  • So, what the fuck have you been smoking?

  • So welcome to the real world skippy, good for you.

  • i love them! killer song

  • great song. nin never disappoints

  • i am trying...to t-t-t-t-t-t-tolerate you...!

  • The album Ghsots is an excellent album!!! Is an instrumental album... listen it again!

  • if you re a classic- or jazzpianist you can say that trents music isn´t genially. but if you look at him as somebody liking industiral/electronic music, he is god. and halo 14 is the throne he is sitting in. of course, there are things sounding like downward spiral, these things are called "nine inch nails". but the overall feeling of the new things is more DSP and plug in like, its sound new and a bit more plastic.

  • power full track - at "the end" of NIN LP`s [who knows..?]

  • Best song on this album, just above Corno Radiata ... and seldom that I can say one of his songs is better than the other. His best song is the one ur listening to at that moment - Nuff said

  • Pfff Who Cares If Some One has Sold Out Or not...just dont listen, And I Dont think NIN Sounds different it sounds good with the spontaneous drumbeats, Like The Perfect Drug, March of the pigs and Burn....Those Are really good songs because they have a neat Creative drum Beat To them....But W/e Once Someone's started an argument on youtube comments They argue like little 3 year olds...And you can almost never stop the fight Its Stupid...Great Song Though...

  • Keep you doped with Trent

    Virtual and MTV

But your are still fucking deadheads

As far as I can see

  • & awesome lyrics

  • best song of slip imo

  • it's my fav on the slip too

  • what the fuck are you talking about? what guy from velvet revolver and since when are they a fucking sellout?! Their sound is evolving if Trent was selling out he'd sound like Justin Fucking Timberlake which he most certainly doesn't. Wow dumbass

  • . . . . Or . . He's growing as an unpredictable artist. Constructive criticism promotes growth. You have to measure up, lol.

  • well i really dont give a crap what anyone thinks, they were better and a lot harder in the early days, yes fine what ever they are still ok but it sounds different, Blah

  • Well selling out usually implies money.

  • god what the fuck man? and no it doesn't, look at slipknot, they are a sell out now too, has nothing to do with money, but when your orignal sound and roots become fucked up when you try to sound like other people, thats being a sell out.

  • No. Categorically, it is not. Selling (mind that word, now) out is about attempting to make more money. Period.

Only fools wish their favorite artists were kept in an air-tight box so that they can take them out when they want to.

I'm fine with my favorite artists evolving. I'd hate to have them stagnate. If they move in a direction I'm not thrilled with, I don't listen.

    Simple as.

  • Almost Every Band is better In The So Called "Early Days" Because They're Ideas Are fresh And Amazing, But Eventually They Lose theyre Flavor And they just buy Songs From Other people, I'm Not Saying That Trent is Doing that But A lot of bands do that Now, And thats Why Modern music Is kinda Sucky in My opinion...

  • Then again, spelling and punctuation in the early days was far far superior. :)

  • I Like Capitalizing The first Letter In almost Every Word!

  • Comment removed

  • Just because a group or someone tries to sound different doesn't mean they are a sell out. Also the fact that this album was FREE so I doubt he is in it completely for the money.

  • dude fucking drop it i already said ok fine. and i never said anything about money you dumb fuck.

  • Hostile much? You used an incorrect term and then got pissy like a little bitch or child would when people called you out on it. Selling out has nothing to do with sound, and only to do with money. You never said "ok fine," either, you continued to argue the point. You are the fucking dumbass, they've evolved their sound, so no, it doesn't sound like it used to. Reznor is in a completely different place with his life, it's natural that the sound and music would change.

  • i agree. Trent's always changed his style with the times and he's always been unpredictable

  • Sorry Didnt See this One...

  • around 3:32 it sounds liek he is saying meow

  • This sounds reminiscent of You Know Who You Are to me. Something about the bass and drums i think. Groovy.

  • guys if you want to hear some "awesome drums" listen to the "Broken" album. thats when they were good.

  • whats wrong with anything after broken? th downward spiral is awesome, the fragile in my opion is his best, the drums in with teeth are awsome, year zero is like a bunch of crazy electronics, ghosts is epic, and the slip is just fun.trent doenst have a bad album

  • Comment removed

  • awesome drums

  • Favorite song on that album

  • If all the comments this song suggest to you is to discuss about 21 bucks, then you are the real shit!!!

  • My favorite song on the album! My itunes play count for this is around 100+

  • Can't split because it's only one guy.

And he's retiring after the most recent tour is over so you got your fucking wish.

    Douche bag.

  • This is my favourite song off this album. The synth lines have just the right resonance and the noise synths sound awesome. Youtube compression rapes the awesomeness however.

  • Well, if you read what the description said, you would've noticed that it said free if you download it from his website...idiot lol..and what do you mean by corporate shit? it's not like he gives away every album he makes, he has to make money somehow...

  • umm, you're totally free to download the music or rip it and redistribute it ... the creative commons license it's under permits you to do all of that. You paid $21 cause you got the DVD with it. Plus does it really hurt to support the musicians you like financially?

  • not really!

    ^^

  • Exactly.

Most people, I believe, who had already downloaded it off the site for free went and purchased the CD in it's physical form, just to support Trent in his continued efforts.

He doesn't have his label to support him anymore, and that might present itself as a challenge. He needs us, and he knows that.

  • Well, he's a multi-millionaire so I think the term "need" is questionable.

  • AMAZING.. has a fragile era feel, atleast for me it does

  • ...I'll stick with Pretty Hate Machine instead.

  • no you are not stupid. you actually believe in supporting in something that you love and believe in and that is refreshing. i do like this song but i think it could be without the "yayaya" part :/ hehe but for the most this song is still good and trent is still the musical genius he has always been.

  • even know it was free i still bought it, ya im stupid. or am i.

  • you r true fan, thats not stupid, and you bought a hell of an album. excelent 20 buck invesment if you ask me =).

  • thx man , have a good 1

  • best song of the slip

  • this song is demonic!

    literally, lol.

i love the 6/4 time signature.

    It adds a weird vibe.

  • i love the weird time signuture

  • me too!

    it's either 3/4 or 6/4 (it's basically the same)

  • actually, at 3:46 he counts to the beat "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and then goes into the next part. So you're right.

Also, greatest song on the album. 1,000,000 is good, too.

  • Saw them in Houston a few days ago.

Best concert/light show I've ever seen in my life. Period.

  • I ansolutely love this album, I started slow but now I cant stop playing it, its awesome!

  • Man, I can so relate to this shit! favoriting and giving it 5 stars! Awesome! and I think it's great that Nine Inch Nails is just straight up putting it all out for free and saying "Fuck this anti-piracy bullshit! We're gonna give the fans what they want!" or at least sending that kinda message by doi ng this! I think it's fucking awesome!

  • and i saw it in the record store and actually paid 20 euro's for it xD

ah well doesnt matter though I like having it on a proper cd + I got all the videos too now ^^

  • yeah thats the limited edition. only like, 250,000 will b made

  • yeah so I've heard from friends :)

now im really happy I bought it :P

  • look at the back. it says "xxx,xxx/250,000" as in thats number "xxx, xxx" out of the only 250,000 thatll be made. sick, huh. i want "666/250,000"

  • i got 62,101

  • nice

  • i got 82 251

  • says you.

  • move you ass to the studio !

  • Nine Inch Nails is amazing. Nuff said.

  • the man's a genius. ppl will luk at nin in the future like ppl luk at the stones and the like now. a true great

  • Reznor is a fucking genius.

    brilliant as always!

  • Tah, Tah, Tah, Tolerate! Sounds like a bomb, marvelous!

  • im still stuck in the downward spiral phase but this song and discipline are pretty cool

  • me too and I've been very skeptical of his more recent albums but i have to admit there are a few really great songs in his new era of music.

  • how does reznor still find kick ass beats after releasing so many albums? just shows you he is fuckin amazin..

  • EarthQuakeFocus + 1 for sharing!!

  • NIN could release an album of farts and burps and I'd still buy it. Okay, not quite.

Great artists such as NIN (not exclusively Reznor) do make the majority of the remaining music industry look like talentless noobs.

  • I love this song. The beat is fantastic.

  • This song has it all! You've Gotta love that "Fragile" era guitar tone as well as that killer synth that hits at around 2:23. This song is closer in tone and atmosphere to his older work than his newer albums- and I love every fucking second of it!

  • Sometimes it kinda pisses me off when people say Trent is losing it. Tbh even if this whole album was just Trent twiddling his thumbs the fact remains that not many artists could measure up to this quality of raw, sonic genius.

  • thank you trent for the slip. amazing.

  • good song. im glad NIN iz back.

  • I think this album is him revisiting characters from Year Zero after the whole "Great Destroyer" breakdown at the end of it. Demon Seed is the character who was "the great destroyer" in Year Zero and now he has just lost it; his humanity is gone. *shrugs* but thats the great thing about art, always so very open to interpretation.

  • I totally agree with you on the sentiment of this being related to The Great Destroyer. Incidentally the lyrics on this album are amazing....much better in comparison to some of the stuff on wit teeth...lol even the sounds he makes like the repetition of 't t t tolerate you' as if he's a bomb waiting to go off. genius:D

  • ssweet

  • This is a badass album. I'm impressed with it and I can't wait to hear this material performed live. I hope we get to hear some tracks from "Ghosts" develop live as well. Both of these albums have some terrific instrumentation.

  • Lyrically this album makes me want to think of it as 'year one'.. The lyrics would make sense plus the album art for letting you, and demon seed sounds like the red pill.

  • Ok after second listenin its good

  • this song def reminds me of the fragile. good shit.

  • Amazing work... Amazing

  • You're right. In some ways this album reminds me a little bit of The Fragile. What do you think?

  • I dunno yet but I thought this album would ressemble Pretty hate machine because of the artwork

    it doesnt

  • To me I think it's a mix, between Year Zero and With teeth, or just most of his past music.. Unlike Year Zero, it's not something new for him, but just most of what he has done until now mixed in an awesome album
