@ZrazorRozenstrauch I was not saying that sexual abuse caused homosexuality. There are lots of "straight" men in prison that have sex with each other. It's a hard to understand issue on what makes people the way they are, but to say someone is born that way is flat out wrong.
I truly do believe the "born that way" argument is simply a false statement behind an agenda. It is a lot easier to accept homosexuality, pedophilia or animalism if its believed they can't help it.

@ZrazorRozenstrauch It is a lot harder to believe that you as a father or as a mother failed to raise a child. That you failed in such a way that they want to have sex with men, want to steal, want to be powerful in a gang, get pleasure from murdering people.
It's easier to not take responsibility for your actions, to say that its simply "who you are", if you are criminal you are just a "product of your environment", what is much harder is to admit you have done wrong and repent to God.

Though most people still believe they are "good people" and when they do sin it is either "not immoral" or they just did it because of circumstance. (stole because they were poor, killed because of abuse)
In the end there is no alibi for sin, it will be judged by God. And I have gotten on my knees and prayed for forgiveness, because I cant do it alone.

In regards to religious beliefs, I simply don't believe in God, so those arguments carry absolutely zero weight to me. If anything, the fact that you reverted to faith-based arguments proves that you don't actually have a logical basis for your views.

Children and animals can't consent to sexual activity, so there's a basis for being against those, but homosexuality is between two consenting adults in the privacy of their own home, causing no harm to anyone.

And gay marriage would affect children who couldn't consent, it would be the government dictating that adoption agencies would have to adopt to 2 men or 2 women. A married man and woman should be the only consideration for adoption.

That is not the point of the study. @ZrazorRozenstrauch An example of this would be people that were sexually abused as children, are much more likely to become child molesters. That factor appears to contribute towards future sexual preference. Or young girls who have bad relationships with their fathers go for older men.
In those instances sexual preference has been a result of upbringing.
