Take the Social Security disaster for example. When an employer hires you, he doesn't just pay your $13/hr, he has to match all your SS contributions, an extra 6.6% on top of everything plus other bureaucratic-induced costs. @jetbtkng we don't have so many working manufacturing jobs, the economy is 80% service jobs, like all advanced societies. Demos have made it tougher to hire here. Take the Social Security disaster for example. When an employer hires you, he doesn't just pay your $13/hr, he has to match all your SS contributions, an extra 6.6% on top of everything plus other bureaucratic-induced costs. This makes outsourcing more likely...might be worth it if they actually saved our SS money foreachgeneration
