  • Wow, this is neat to see Sylvia here. There'd likely be no Deborah Henson Conant, Harper Tasche, maybe even Art in America without the Mother of Folk Harp. I'm glad she choose to start the free the harp movement ... I just hope the spirit of freedom on the harp she initiated continues to future people seeking expressiveness and personal connection...

  • her book and cd is awesome wanting to get her dvd next. when it comes to music note sim a dummy! with he ri learned the basics and thats a great achievement for me. she is very good. so if your wanting to learn harp get her books and youll soar!!!

  • I met Sylvia when I bought my second harp. :) How on earth does she play the opening piece, "In The Forest" (from her "The Harp of Brandiswhiere") so fast?!? I can't do it. I think it sounds better a bit slower, though.
