Borderlands - Fighting Skagzilla!

this was one of the easiest monsters in the game for me and my bro i was soldier and he was hunter

I liked this fight and the blue guys in the bottom underground area in this zone. Also, I was shooting this guy for around 1,500 as a hunter at lvl 20. You prob could've been doing a good 300-400 more with that gun if you shot him in the mouth every time it even opened an inch. I noticed you got him a few times. Nothing beats a direct hit. ^_^

@MW2Aidan i think that there is a mod for the soldier class where you make the clip size bigger, the support gunner is what he's using so i guess thats it

@MrUnionBay There is also a skill in... the 3rd section (you have infantary, support, cant remember 3rd one).

I believe you need just 5 in it and you unlock it.

It wasn't that easy as Mordecai since he has low health and takes damage faster, but once that pretty mouth of its opens, sniper pretty much rapes it

This guy is pretty easy to dodge regardless. Jump when he lands from his leap, turn when he charges, and shoot him in the mouth when he opens his mouth.

dont go low lvl on him in playthrough 2 i was lvl 39 and he was 42 and it was impossible.

I'm brick too, Use bezerk to heal yourself while you run, theres a little opening in skagzilla's mouth, shoot that for crits.

the key to no dieing is when it jumps you jump and when it lunges jump to the side i have a lvl 50 hunter 50 soldger and 50 syrin all of them have beeten it on the 2nd playthrough and all the missions are done i just need one more achement and that is the claptrap one were i get 42 inventory slots i have 36 right now

You free roam certain areas completing quests. Imagine this game as Hellgate London meets World of Warcraft. It's interesting.

How big are the areas? That kinda makes me sad, because I like that sort of feeling where there's just one HUGE map to explore.

pretty big, not as big as some other games but there are lots of quests and subareas, the starting zone has the main part: arid badlands, lost cave, headstone mine, arid hills, safehouse, fyrestone, sledges fortress, windfarm, rakk plains, titans end, and skag gully.

i beat that boss in just two minuts. best thing is shoot him when he opens his mouth with and explosive weapon. i had a rocket lanchur. so thats why it died quicly. otherwise it dose take time.

i agree i beat around the same amount of time using the same tactic but i reckon most rocket launchers uck they just don't help me at all by i luv that shot gun but mine shoots 4 in a row

Oh my god this was painful to watch. First of all, clicking your left stick while going forward makes you run.  Use it. It helps - a lot. Second of all, you've been fighting skags pretty much all the way up to this point and you haven't figured out that a mouth shot = critical? I counted two crits the whole video and they were flukes.

You and your friend are probably the type that complain about the difficulty in this game.

Actually most of the time he just got unlucky and didn't have the chance to shoot (whether because he was behind or reloading). The rest of the time he was firing at the things back which IS a weakpoint (because it doesn't have armor there, though not a critical point like its mouth)

WHen Skagzilla shoots the beam thing, thats when you shoot him in the mouth with your shotgun.  Does so much damage.
