Just discovered this song on Imperial's 'Hollie's Greatest Hits'. So bad-ass, with the 3 time signatures and the octavial articulations. Great recording on this video!!! Thank you!!!
@spacepatrolman the album is My Name is 'Arold and yes, his real name is Harold. Allan's made several solo albums. They're still functioning - Peter Howarth is the new singer. Bobby Elliot and Tony Hicks are the two remaining original members there. They're on tour right now and in 2012 are having their 50'th anniversary tour.
My Veetle Channel will have this song on my Retro Countdown next week as I play the hits from 6-24-67. Go To Veetle dot com, channels, music tab, Current & Classic Radio shows and listen, we have an email and you can ask us for whole shows!
Well deserved The Hollies who named themselves after Buddy holly finally getting the well deserved recognition and being inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame from alan clarke to terry sylvester and the great graham nash they remain one of the best yet one of the most forgotten of the british invasion,This song is a forgotten classic..
@miketheshanmanmangan allen clarke retired as the lead singer [he made a solo record my real name is arnold ,I dont know if thats true ] carl wayne replaced him but died of throat cancer he smoked thats too bad now i dont know if the group is functioning .
AGREED! Believe it or not they never cared for the song and didn`t really want to make a single out of it. I loved the unusual tempo and the echo effect on it and always thought the cymbal bit at the end was a cool way to end the song.

When I owned this LP I played it on a Garrard. Didn't have a Dual till years later. Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane.

I can't believe you have this album! And, a Dual turntable. Had one many years ago that seemed to just disappear. Awesome! Thanks for posting.
