Final Fantasy 13 - Intro

I dont know what you guys are talking about, this is one of the best fantasy game openings ive ever seen. Its not supposed to look all action packed with cliche explosions, after all its called final FANTASY.

I haven't brought any FF games since 10, and I must ask, is this game anything compared to its' predecessors?

I fell in love with FF for its' turn based combat, a strategic breath of fresh air from the usual button mashing games, but as far as i know they did away with it from now on

is the actual gameplay worth the demise of turn based combat?

I've been playing this game now the past two days and if you're asking me so is it a pretty good game. I like the crystalrium which gives you some sort of nostalgia from the Sphere grid in X. The only thing I would like to complain on is that everything is like a straigh line. I miss the Overworld map from the older games.

@AzureDarkGod As far as FF intros go... this one wasn't that great --- honestly, some fan-made trailers beat the pants of this one. Especially when compared to ffXII's intro - which was fucking bad-ass.

This opening is incredible! The animation is wonderful! The music is awesome! Also, it's very cool to see a black character included in the main cast! I mean, he looks a little out of place since he's not super anime like the rest of the cast, but that's still really cool! :D
