  • thats wat i want the twin exhaust!! how much are they and wheres the best place to get one from in the uk!!

  • It was actually on the car when I purchased it, about the only thing that was any good in fact. If you want on the best place would be Rimmer bros.

  • Took 8 months wow, took me 7 years! great stuff.

    Rob

  • Nice set of video's.

Can I just ask what is a dizzy & dizzy cap?

  • it's short for Distributor, there the spark for the spark plug is produced.

  • I just started the rebuild on my 72 GT6. Haven't done the video thing. Can't think about it, just what needs to be done. How did you know in what order to do things?

  • I didn't, just sort of logically progressed, make sure you've done all the dirty messy jobs before you start any of the clean rebuild jobs.

  • wow that looks amazimg how lond did it take you to finish

  • about 9 months, every weekend and a lot of long nights.

  • well ive had mine since just before christmas and spend most weekend on it but ive got some new vids of mine to be put on

do you get the parts from spitbits or rimmerbrothers?

  • Rimmer bros mainly, sports car supplies are good as well

  • sweet thanks

  • wow man, you did an excellent job with the body work! how difficult was the restoration? and did it cost a shit load for everything?i mite be getting a 69 spitfire and i want to know how the whole thing went.

  • nothing was especially hard to do, just make sure u take your time and think about what your doing. In terms of cost I replaced more or less everything except for the engine, gearbox, bonnet, boot lid and passenger door. So it cost about 3 times as much as i thought it would. But it is mow more or less a new car.

  • Any idea when you will start work on the Rover Mini?

  • I've started, and I got some video and pictures just need to find time to cut them together, hopefully sometime this week

  • Looking forward to seeing your next video.

I really enjoyed your spitfire restoration.
